A TL;DR series of events as follows: A month ago, my boyfriend unexpectedly breaks up with me after a year long relationship. I didn't see it coming. He claims that he didn't feel the same way anymore. Me = Cri, evrytiem. I fill my time with work so I don't have time to think. I haven't had a day off in 16 days and it doesn't bother me. Unexpectedly, a wild, charming, new guy appears. We spend a day together in a professional setting and instantly hit it off. Sparks fly. No contact details excha…

I have a Filofax and Erin Condren planner that were both superseded by my Google Calendar. I hate to say it, but I have succumbed to the wraith of the digital world. I use 'Sunrise' app across my devices. It is also linked to 'Todoist'. The best part about a Filofax is the customisable inserts every year. Sure, it's ~$200 to begin with, but then $15 a year for a new calendar.

Hi, I'm /u/mattel-inc. I just found this sub today. I'm 25, single, about to graduate from University. I've always been bro-zoned due to my interests (cars, gaming, trance music, construction etc) 90% of my friends are male. I spend time with them as a group mostly; but it's never weird when just hanging out when them individually. I talk to them everyday, they offer me advice with my other relationships, etc. Been in a couple of serious relationships. Very traditionalist, as I don't like gettin…

I can't believe I've come across this. This post speaks to me. It is me. Why do I (25F) mother all my male friends? I don't even mean to do it. But when they tell me they are going for a drive, or leaving or whatever - I always say "Be careful" and "Take care". I even get to "Please message me when you get home so I know you're safe". Looking on it now, I had NO IDEA I was being so maternal. In some cases, my 'affectionate' ways have been a lead to 'attraction'. Especially the most recent situat…

I'm the opposite. I'm very much a touchy-feely-talk-about-your-feelings person. Failing to communicate LESS is what I have issues with (Goodbyes, knowing when to let go, etc). I think you need to maybe write it all out. If what you're thinking/feeling at the time may "take a lot" out of you, write it out. Who knows? Looking back on it later down the track may make the issue seem trivial. But if I have learnt anything - its this. Don't drown in your feelings. If you love somebody, tell them today…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
