I was in line at a coffee shop a few weeks back when I notice this cute girl in line. I started up a conversation on sandwiches and we had a nice little chat while in line and waiting for our food. I totally didn't ask her for her number and felt a little bummed about it for a while. Earlier this week I saw her out, chatted her up, and made sure to get her number. Not sure if I'm going to ask her out yet, but at least I got that number. Don't wait til you see her at the bus stop. If you see her …

My advice for you would be to develop your self-confidence by doing the things you want to do. From my experience with long term relationships you pour a lot of energy into spending all that time with the other person and miss out on those things you otherwise would've been doing. Meeting people should come second to you becoming a better person. Learn to be awesome and meeting people becomes easy.

I believe in people being able to sense desperation. The fact that YOU noticed that no one noticed you is a good indicator of your 'aura' lets say. This. I used to be rather insecure and wonder why no-one noticed me as I did stuff. As my confidence increased and I learned to simply have fun, my female friends have been telling me that I'm getting checked out a lot. I still don't see it happening, but I know that it is. Really, I just make it a point to be having fun. Nothing more, nothing less.

There's nothing wrong with going out alone. Wherever you go be your awesome self and meet people.

I learned how to dance by learning to skip rope. I was extremely awkward the first few sessions, but as my coordination and footwork improved, I realized that it translated to my body's rhythm at clubs. It probably helped that I was skipping to a lot of music. I went from total goof to "a great dancer." I highly recommend it. It's fun and a great workout.

Girls find it sexy when a guy goes out with a taller girl. Because confidence.

I always think of it as their loss, not mine. I'm awesome. Also an outright rejection is better than wasting more time on a wishy-washy girl.

Of course I won't pass up the chance to go to interesting conventions, but my friend was at SDCC this year and is starting plans to go again next year. Comiccon is something I've wanted to do for a while I think next year is the year!

Yep this cements my plans to go for SDCC next year. The geekiness of the setting makes this one of the more interesting seddit posts I've seen. Reminds me that it's not just a forum for aspiring alphas, but still something on Reddit. Heh.

I think that's been true for a while now. It shows massive self-confidence to go hit a gay club as a straight man.

Hah, I've been called "Stark" myself more than a few times recently. Good nickname to have.

You have to start going to the girls. You pick them. Maybe without your friends around.

Am I being too selfish/needy? Yes. How do you guys make sure to maintain that level of attraction the girl has towards you? Be aloof and unavailable.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
