Me ex wife is letting our 6 year old watch endless YouTube in a tablet in his room unsupervised and he claims its giving him nightmares. His kid's six. Remember first grade. This concept of abstaining from stuff doesn't exist yet. | /r/Divorce_Men | 13/12/19 08:53 PM
Divorcing an AddictYes, that is very true statement. Education is key and understanding fully what you put in your body is important. The knowledge is out there, you just need to go look for it. This is on u/daxdom. I really hope he can save his marriage as I might not get that chance. | /r/Divorce_Men | 24/07/19 06:00 PM
Divorcing an AddictSo, I'll come clean on one of my vices. It was kratom. I know this plant like the back of my hand. Went on a 4 year escapade with it. Played with all the different strains and colors. At it's worse, I was consuming a kilo every two weeks. I'm pretty confident to say you probably couldn't die on the stuff alone. Your body will actually reject it and you'll throw up if you take too much. It's like a protection barrier of sorts for OD. Once again, something grown from the earth has natural healing … | /r/Divorce_Men | 24/07/19 04:35 PM
Divorcing an AddictOne more thing. Opiates constrict the pupils, opposite of dilation. I truly do feel, when your eyes can't see the world for what it really is, colors are duller and it changes your mood. Things might seem doom and gloom for her because she hasn't seen the world for what is really is in a really long time. Once she gets off the opiates, it might take a while for her eyes to return to normal. Stick with it though, cause once the eyes finally return to normal, she is going to feel woken up from a b… | /r/Divorce_Men | 24/07/19 05:04 AM
Divorcing an AddictOk, going to throw this out at you. I was that spouse. Had my own vices. Anyways, her issues can be solved. It sounds like she is fighting two things, addiction and depression. She probably doesn't want to be bad, but doesn't know how to pull herself together. So, before you throw your marriage away, maybe try this out. #1. Addiction to Opiates - The withdrawal's are insane for opiates. There is a solution to this though. Really neat plant out there called kratom. It squashes the withdrawals, … | /r/Divorce_Men | 24/07/19 04:55 AM
Wife filed now having 2nd thoughtsOne more thing. If she comes at you with doing this will make you conceited. Just remember, your characteristic values as a person are what's most important. As long as you hold the belief that no matter what, family and friends always come first and you never turn your back on either, you can pour as much love and time into yourself as you want. Character always wins over, and now you and her are full of life and vigor and will both light up a room when you guys walk into it. | /r/Divorce_Men | 23/07/19 07:17 PM
Wife filed now having 2nd thoughtsHere's my take on it. You have made your life better in the meantime. I'm going through the same thing. When you started to make your life better, you probably realized some things in the marriage that needed to change on both your sides. Maybe she controlled you and you lost yourself in the process. Maybe you were too controlling and she lost herself in the process. Now you have found yourself again, you are having second thoughts because you might lose yourself again or reapply the same soluti… | /r/Divorce_Men | 23/07/19 07:05 PM
