Agreed, especially since you said that you're highly educated I'd pick women who are more receptive and interested in politics, literature, music/film etc. And I'd go to the library, attend conferences and have chit chat later, or a classy lounge/bar for women like that.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder! All I can say is, exuding confidence will immidietly attract women, nothing turns us off most than seeing men who think low of themselves

Go for it! Coming from a female, I can say that you're quite handsome and if you come off as confident, make her feel comfortable, and strike good conversation, even if they weren't interested in you I'm sure they wouldn't mind talking. Good luck :)

Yea that's fair, all I'm trying to say is when your gf/wife becomes an old cripple with wrinkles embedded in her skin like an atlas, it's not her looks that's keeping you with her. It's her personality and all those good times you've had, unless of course you're waiting around to collect her life insurance ;)

Well damn lol I agree with you but at the same time looks don't last. I've met people that were 11/10 but the second they opened their mouth I was completely repulsed. I'd say it's more of a balance, and if you are going for looks then you should expect it to be a fling not some soul mate.

Personally I really liked the urgency of your approach and the fact that you were leaving in a few minutes which would've given her a few moments to make a decision to give her number and schedule a rendez-vous. Urgency isn't always a bad thing, especially if you seemed inviting and confident then left for the train, it leaves a mysterious vibe and some girls are into that.

Following someone and casually/politely striking conversation or introducing yourself while keeping boundaries are totally seperate things..

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
