It's their fault if they get hurt. Although I do think it's fair to be vague if it's something they can't change anyway. So "I'm not attracted to you physically" or "I think we're too different". If they really press you after that... They're bringing it on themselves.

Why do BPers feel that women are weaker willed than men? A lot of the time, when it comes to our own well being, we are weaker than men. We are, on average, a lot worse at saying 'no' than our male counterparts. It's not that our decision making skills are worse - it's that the meter by which we judge things is different. For me, disappointing other people is worse than losing out on something. I think that it has a lot to do with the way we're socialized, and I imagine most TRPers would say it …
