Tbh I notice myself doing this too. I don’t do it intentionally. It’s like my lizard brain activates. I am totally not interested in talking to other men but I’m not blind and when I see an attractive person, male or female, my head turns naturally.

My height requirement is simply be taller than me, and I’m a short woman so it doesn’t rule out many people. I find plenty of men attractive, but only a small percentage of men have that sparkle effect for me and I have no idea what the sparkle is but I can spot it straight away. And no, they are not the top of the top most physically attractive men. Usually my friends don’t find the men that I date attractive. My friends like different men, who are ‘sparkly’ in their eyes. I’m convinced it all …

So your revenge fantasy is that women with a lot of previous sexual partners end up with men that they aren’t sexually attracted to?

This is exactly right. OPs perspective is interesting and makes sense, but it isn’t rooted in reality. There are so many reasons why a woman might’ve had hookups in her past and “feral attraction” is only one of them. Myself and most of my friends have had sexual encounters in the past that we didn’t even enjoy, or with men we weren’t even that attracted to

I don’t know why but I’ve never been into blue collar men, regardless of how physically attractive. I find blue collar men generally more masculine, but my preferred type of man has a very slight feminine element to him.

100% my fiancé is the only person that I’ve ever been able to orgasm with. Literally, the only person, ever. After years of not being able to orgasm in the presence of another person, no matter how attracted I was to them, I finally feel safe enough with someone. I’m definitely not thinking about chads of the past when I’m with him. I’m thinking about him and focusing on the sensations in my body but it does still take some mental effort, and I kind of have to go into my own little world in orde…

I’m glad this post could stay up. I’ve been in this sub for a while because I like it and because I am a feminine woman who wants a husband and most likely children, but I hadn’t quite figured out where this sub fits into the ‘red pill’ community or what red pill even really means. There is some scary stuff happening in the male side of the red pill forums which is not what I align myself with. Comments here have helped me understand this sub a little better.

Scary stuff. Both redpill and radical feminism are extremely problematic.

Prenup? Absolutely, not just to protect men but to protect women too. DNA testing can be fine as long as it’s something that is discussed early on in the relationship. I can see why any woman would be hurt / see it as a breakup-worthy offence if their longterm partner suddenly sprung that one on them AFTER they already got pregnant.

Nobody’s end of life care plan should be ‘oh my children will take care of me’. Having children DOES NOT guarantee you end of life care. Personally I want children, but end of life care doesn’t even register for me as a reason for wanting them. I dont understand why this seems to be the top retort whenever someone says they don’t want children. What a selfish reason to bring life into this world.

The majority of men I see on an average day are not in my age range anyway but of the men I see within my age range I think the % of men I could find attractive if my attention was drawn to it would be around 50%. When I’m out and about during my day I’m just not really thinking about it though

I can confirm even in a small town my friends who were also on the dating apps were matching with completely different men than me. Sometimes we’d have a match in common but for the most part we had very different tastes.

I don’t think ‘the ick’ is a serious thing. I remember when I was dating if I really liked a guy I would start noticing ‘icks’ but it was mostly because I actually really really liked them, so my brain would do this weird defence mechanism thing where I’d become critical in my mind about everything that the guy did. If a guy got to the ick stage with me then I was already totally obsessed with them so no ick was going to be an actual dealbreaker

I was watching a Chris Evans movie the other day and I actually thought to myself this guy is so generically good looking that he is boring as hell to look at. He like a slice of basic white bread

All of your wife material points are really good and it’s totally fair that you don’t want a girl who constantly parties or who you don’t find attractive enough to want to commit to. The thing I’ve observed in my circles is that most woman party a lot when they’re younger and have phases where they are promiscuous for various reasons, but later on they settle down, opt for long term relationships, stop partying and drinking and then get married. If you’re looking for an early 20s, good looking, …

Men have the ability to make a woman feel safe and protected. This might just be because I’ve always had a good relationship with my dad but a lot of men give off that dad/hero energy. I’ve always felt men are less judgmental and I can be myself around them quicker than I can around other women. Men seem more level-headed, less ruled by emotion. Men do tend to have a better sense of humour. All of the funniest people I’ve ever met have been men. Men balance out the shortfalls of women and vice v…

I don’t think men expect it, but I think women tend to care more than men about the appearance of the home. I think these things naturally occur. I don’t disagree with your original post. I think people are more individually driven now and the concept of family has become less important

I think women in relationships tend to have the shorter end of the stick (on average). We do more of the emotional labour, more of the housework, take on the main caregiver role when it comes to children while oftentimes still working but earning less than our male partners. I intend to marry my partner and although he is a great partner, I do worry about what it will look like when we have kids because I have seen these gender roles play out in real life. However, that is the choice I’m making …

I think I am a victim to my own subconscious redpill ideologies. Just this weekend something came up about my past, something that I’m not proud of and I was surprised when my partner wasn’t completely repulsed hearing about it. I’ve been surprised the whole way through my relationship that he has accepted everything about me. I was scared to tell him that I have tattoos when we first started dating, I was scared to talk to him about my past sexual experiences, but he’s been loving and supportiv…

In my experience men tend to be better looking in person than they are in photos. I live in a fairly small town so I’ve seen guys around who I’ve recognised from dating apps. I passed one guy on the street who I’d swiped left on before and thought damn he is actually beautiful. My partner who I met on Bumble had a few photos where I wouldn’t have swiped right if they had been the only photos. I didn’t really know what I was going to get when I went to meet him in person but I was pleasantly surp…

I had an ex once who later into the relationship revealed that he wasn’t into women who are promiscuous, using my friend as an example of someone he wouldn’t ever have considered dating (she did have a high body count) He told me that “you can just tell when a woman has had more than 20 partners, they give off hoe energy” jokes on him because I have had more than 20 partners. I’m introverted, I have a quiet temperament and I dress pretty conservatively so guys always assume that I’m innocent and…

I think location plays a bigger factor than we realise in this discussion. I live in New Zealand and we’re pretty liberal here. I think I read that we have the highest female body count per capita in the world. I could be wrong. I have friends with body counts in the 20-30+ range who are now married with great husbands. Seems to be a huge thing I hear about on the internet but I’ve rarely seen it translate in real life

It’s the generalisations that get me. That a woman becomes worthless in the dating pool if she has a high n count because you feel that way and therefore you must represent the majority of men. I haven’t been asked about my ‘body count’ since I was in my very early 20s

I haven’t been able to put this into words but this is what I’ve been wanting to say about the whole “men only want to date virgins” and “women only want to date men over 6ft” debates. Well said

I wouldn’t want to date someone who was having casual sex on the regular as a lifestyle choice. However I also don’t see it as being black and white. Both my partner and I share similar values around sex. We both don’t enjoy casual sex, would prefer to do it with someone we love, wouldn’t sleep with a stranger. However we have both had a range of experiences in our lives, some we regret, some we didn’t enjoy, some that caused massive heartache, but it has enabled us to be who we are now

I have had 8 sexual partners in the last 5 years. I’m 27 1 from a 3 year relationship which ended in 2018 1 post breakup hookup with a friend (regrets) 1 fwb situation with a guy from my past who I reconnected with, had major feelings for - had already slept with him prior to meeting my ex 1 guy I dated who I liked but wasn’t ready to commit to 2 guys I dated who I liked but weren’t ready to commit to me 1 relationship that lasted 7 months and then my current relationship which is new and defini…

This is so true. I used to always complain about how men never wanted to commit, all men are fuck boys ect. But at the same time I was marketing myself as a fun time not a long time. I even used to set my dating profiles as “don’t know yet” where it asked what I was looking for, when I knew full well that I was looking for a relationship. But then I set standards and boundaries and I ended up meeting my amazing partner. You attract what you put out

I think you might find more unfaithful people in the high n count category, but of course high n count doesn’t automatically mean someone is going to be a cheater. I have quite a high n count from my past - 27yo with 23 partners, but I’m happily in a relationship, never cheated, never will. I also have a friend who’s count would be well past 50. When she’s single she’s wild, when she’s in a relationship she’s 100% loyal
