| 1 | Still Not Over my Ex After 6 MonthsIt takes a LONG time. I wasn't really over mine for perhaps 3 - 5 years. I met someone soon after we broke up but I needed more time. It took me 6 months from breakup to be at the stage I could be in another relationship but it took years after that to truly be able to say I was OK again. I know that it must be very difficult for you especially so soon, but when dealing with any loss of a loved one I find that as time goes on you come to terms with it more.
