The idea behind that is that e.g. rape victims with no evidence don't have to be afraid to report their abuser. At least that's what they always say when this question comes up.

Seems to be a recurring joke over there.

Well, there it is: https://www.judiciary.gov.uk/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/equal-treatment-bench-book-february2018-v4.pdf Check pages 6-4 and 6-18 ff. Also on page 6-16 bottom: As is stated in the Introduction to this Bench Book, true equal treatment may not always mean treating everyone in the same way. Treating people fairly requires awareness and understanding of their different circumstances[…]

it's not like it's HER fault. No, her non-Apple phone just started recording and uploading by itself… if only she had an Apple phone, too.

With only 19 mostly positive comments, it looks like she's cleaning there, too.

Cause that’s how you get every comment on your YouTube to be about your dad. Not if you disable comments…

I wonder when the first women complain about having to use the same restroom as disabled people…

To be fair, she doesn't seem to be the brightest candle on the cake to begin with. (From the Google cache.)

It should probably be added that this was a talk about "(Sexual) violence against women and the law" by THE feminist of all (German) feminists. So it was a very specific crowd.

This case from 14 years ago is similar but with reversed genders. It happened in 2001 and she decided to report him in early 2014. The judge said she used the law from 2001 and he got 18 months probation. However, the final sentence of the article says that current law would mean at least twice that much and most probably without probation.

No, this would keep real victims from reporting their cases… /s

German tv show saying thanks for the heads up and police took both teens. Police report, seems like the guy is 20 years old and thus can be tried as an adult. The girl is 17 and free to go for the moment.

Maybe, just MAYBE, this thing was staged to get her name into the news or such. I found a "student majoring in Mass Communications with a track in Journalism and New Media and minoring in Electronic Film & Media" with her name from that area.

It's from a TV show called "Dadagiri" where the girl should humiliate the guys WITH WORDS ONLY. According to someone from another post, part of it was scripted, part of it was improv. During the improv part, the guy responded with "You go [fuck yourself]?" which caused the girl to snap and slap him.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
