This sub is full of media illiterate midwits.

Because the perception that all these women want random hookups is way overblown

Also....Celebs live in a different reality then us common folk....Different rules, different rung, different everything.

I also believe the original 80/20 rule has been twisted to death, I believe it was originally referring to that 20% of the population having 80% of all casual sex outside of a relationship. Basically that's been through a game of online telephone and blackpill loserdom become "women are whores and only want to fuck chad"

Ok, but I want to live in New York City. Also I think my basic income should be 130k a year.

I think people think they themselves are different. They will opine that they just want a "normal average" girl, but only lust after insta models, or say things like they care about personality and not looks, like women do, but somehow the only women with personalities they care about are hotties. Many people with dating issues lack theory of mind.

I'm not discounting the labor and effort. However, the implication of "Men built society" is two fold. They did it from the goodness of their heart only and "I am a man so I should get credit too". I'm a dude and have done a lot of different type of work, and I liked different work better then others, but ultimately, I didn't do the work out of some sort of charity. I did it to get paid, even If I enjoyed the work. A friend of mine is a plumber, and he makes great money, and his work helps peopl…

Also...Most of these men, Especially in modern times (besides slaves of course) were paid. They exchanged labor for money. Its like not collectively these men where like "Please, no payment this week sir, I dug these subways tunnels for the good of humanity"

Exactly! Agreed. Brings up one of my favorite quoes..."Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure, than to take rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, because they live in the gray twilight that knows neither victory nor defeat." - Teddy Roosevelt
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/26 10:57 PM

Sure, I was being glib? but I find it fascinating you can judge whole populations on the actions of a few. Sure person A was shitty....but Am I to assume person B C D E F are shitty too ? Seems like a limiting way to go through life.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/26 10:49 PM

From the comments below, seems certain people and maybe its a young generation thing, cant mentally handle potential heartbreak. Like the potential for negative emotions gives them paralysis?

I know that study and I think it's a flawed stat for a number of reasons. Does not count online interactions or even texting (So meeting someone IRL and then asking her to hang through her Insta DM's or even texting her doesn't count) Seems to focus on formal "dates" Only counts Gen Z (18-25) (how many 18 year olds are asking for formal dates as opposed to just "hanging out") Seems to infer "women" are "women they have never meet" before and not friends of friends or acquittances, which is how a…

Dan is a loser grifter. His Dad was a finance grifter, having been convicted of multiple counts of fraud. Most likely Dan got his initial money from his dad's embezzlements. Everything Dan is, is fake. He pays women to be around him and to pose for pictures. His lifestyle is fake, all on credit, and his Ignite company went bankrupt. He is also a borderline Nazi. Dan's biggest accomplishment was convincing young impressionable men that he was in any way real.

I am older and can seperate Online vs Real Life. I can scroll for a bit, get entertained and see it for what it is, a car crash. It's the same thing as knowing reality shows are not Reality and the WWE is scripted. Social Media is great for hobby groups. I am apart of a few different hobby groups and can get great advice on the hobby and stuff you can't get elsewhere anymore. Messageboards sadly are a thing of the past mostly.

It might be "real" for those people, but it also leans in and promotes those people. Normie dudes and Gals who just go about their day and don't engage and this shit, don't get clicks and don't feed the rage machine.

It also blank slates women. As if individual women also don't have their own sets of behaviors and hang ups and likes and dislikes etc. Charlie Manson had some women fans, (He also had a lot of men fans but everyone ignores that here). So what? The logical leap of Charlie Manson had a few women fans to "WOMEN LOVE SERIAL KILLERS" is like grand canyon sized.

I'm a dude. I like first dates. They are not hard to plan. "hey lets meet at ABC Bar at 7pm" Anything more is overkill. I'm not going to a 200 dollar plate steak dinner joint with a first date.

Its hard to know what "women" want. it's easier to know what a particular women wants. Maybe get to know them, date, socialize etc. You know. Normal things.

An average man can have casual sex. But you are having it with average women in niche groups. Assortative mating. You see a lot of casual sex in like the restaurant industry for example, and it's filled with "average" people.

Yeah these ultimately are just a list of made up strawmen that bonk around in the OP's head. Ive dated girls who wanted to make out and more on the 1st or 2nd date and others who wanted to wait a month or more before sex. I didn't change, I just dated different people who had different ideas.

Its an unrealistic framing. Most "cold Approaches" will fail, most first dates will not lead to anything big, most relationships will end. I hate to be all numbery, but I had a lot of first dates, most went nowhere, I had 3 "major" relationships, 2 of them "failed". A number of "flings" or "talking" situations, which again most went nowhere. Happily married for 8 years, been with her for 14 years and have 2 kids.

Ok so a couple of things about the classification of criminal The issue with numbers like this is it's hard to parse crimes. Murder and slinging a bag of dope or getting arrested at an illegal card game are two very different levels. Yet we are using the same language. So what are we picturing when it comes to criminal, we are pictureing a shitty person, scumbag, multiple arrests, a bad person in general, violent etc... not some teen who got pinched once for gambling or smoking pot. So When I sa…

This sub doesn't do well with non binary thinking. Sure are there some non criminal perfectly sweet girl next door middle class women who date criminals? Yeah I bet it happens. But if we are going by percentages, it's pretty rare, Assortative mating rules the day. So the question then why do guys obsess over such a small percentage of women, when the vast majority will assortatively mate.

This kills me when people cry about the "death of the 3rd space"...These places still exist. Bowling alleys are making a small comeback, just had a nice modern one with a bar and flatbreads open up near me. The issue here is that people want to just randomly plop themselves down at a random place and instantly have it become your "Cheers" and you get to take home a hottie on the first try. We take a few bucks out of our work checks for our own personal accounts. Funny money for stuff like Hobbies and Draftkings. I would say the mindframe of doing such things needs to be adjusted as opposed to just stop doing them. I believe if your doing XYZ JUST to get chicks, then your sort of missing the point. I go to the Gym because it makes me feel good and makes me look good, and when I look and feel good, it makes me a better human. The residual effect of that may be being more attractive to chicks. Sure "Stop" is one Solution. Maybe changing your mindset also works. Your basketball example is great, because there are alternatives. You can play rec league basketball, you can play in the park etc, maybe you collect basketball cards, maybe you coach basketball....you don't have to give up basketball just because your not a pro! If someone wants to Stop, that is fine, their choice, but if they want to Stop just because they can't be Brad Pit, it seems silly.

I agree with your example. But I disagree with the idea that "most men" don't have this mental resilience or at the very least, just don't think about in terms of a defeatist attitude. I think most men push past this. Just not a some men on this sub reddit. Most men will not look like Brad Pit, be rich like Jeff Bezos etc...but they can carve out a nice life for themselves. I never thought Blue Pill was against this? I mean we all know our leagues. Dating out of your league, out kicking the coverage, in dating is a trope as old as time.

Yes roughly it has. I have 4 close friends from (2) home and (2) college and luckily my home friends and college friends get along great so we become one big group. These are my core friend group. I def have some tangential friends who I see at group events, like friend of a friends wife who are cool, but not like the core group.

Things you are not considering: Women tend to hold the social calendar. It's not that I'm asking for permission I'm asking if I am available or have a previous commitment like a dinner with the inlaws or something You do have to spend time with your SO to maintain that relationship. There is only so much time to go around. Being in a relationship isn't just a weekday nights thing or convenient for you thing. And we only have so much social battery. Couples with kids. Kids take work. Its not fair…

What Disney Movies are your referring too?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/24 01:31 PM

PPD is a very very poor reflection of what goes out IRL. Its filled with the extremes and some normies who stumbled in by accident. Bars, Partys, Meetups, Social Events, school, work. In some settings you just cant expect a pick up line to work. You meet people and talk to them.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/24 08:32 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/24 11:40 AM

I think an issue here is "decency" is poorly defined. Is this just another "nice guy" post? The OP talked about using personality...but isn't being decent tied to personality in some way? And also how is someone going to know if your decent or not? Unless you show it through actions and personality? Which involve social interaction. People really confuse being "decent" with acts of pedestalization. Or they confuse being meek and shy with being "decent" A real issue is that people will freely cat…
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/24 06:28 PM

Right. What does Decency even mean here? Are dudes sitting at home trying to be "decent" while hoping a women finds him? Assortative mating is a good general rule. People with similar values find each other and choose to be with each other.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/24 06:19 PM

But which ones to listen to? I mean billions of women, billions of opinions, which one is right? Women A says she doesnt mind being hit on at a bar, Women B says she does not want to be hit on at a bar Who do you listen to?

It totally ignores the Slow Life Strategy. We live longer. No need to speed rush through life cause some fingernail infection can take us out. We can safely have kids later as well, we have more things to learn and educate ourselves. I think that is the reason more then anything. No need to marry the first person you meet. Which bares out in the stats. Like the lowest divorce rates are among college educated people who marry in their late 20's early 30s.

Trying to glean anything about American Dating Culture from PPD posts is a fools game. Most on PPD know the least about dating culture. They are terminally online and addicted to shitty social media. It’s for these reasons that there will be an increasing single epidemic amongst older women. Essentially it’s an intersection where men have maximally checked out and women have maximally lost value. If you go to blackjack table Blackjack actually makes a lot of sense if you go by a per hand basis, each hand being a attempt to hit on a chick. You can make the right call like hitting on a 12 vs a 10 and still bust. You can make the wrong call like hitting on a 17 vs a 6 and still win. You can get a 20 and lose to a 21. You can double up, split or surrender And sometimes you simply get dealt an Ace and a King and don't have to do anything, you just showed up. Basically you will never win every…

Yes, but I think the issue here is people are not seeing the gray in this. /r/PurplePillDebate21/02/24 06:41 PM

Yeah I never get good answers. Or they will bring up like "oh revenge of the nerds!"...the one movie out of like hundreds of 80s teen comedies. All the major 80s teen comedies, Breakfast club, pretty in pink, 16 candles etc....the dudes are good looking. Heck in Pretty in pink, Duckie does NOT get the girl. She goes with the handsome rich guy.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/24 04:16 PM

On the flip side men are using the same media as to why they believed they would get a girl I just don't buy this. In Disney "fairytale" media, the dude was always either Rich, or Good looking, or both. Also, Hunchback of Notre Dame, hunchback did NOT get the Girl. Maybe, Maybe you could point out Beauty in the Beast, but the beast was rich, had his own castle and was in fact a good looking dude. But otherwise...All good looking, dashing rich dudes. Among many socially stunted men, they tend to treat women as "special" . Like their is a cheat code to unlocking them. That mindset leads to a lot of anxiety and expectations. By treating them like a "human" it means getting out of that mindset. Treat a women or talk to a women like they put their pants on one leg at a time. There is also a terminally online fueled fear of talking to women that some men here have. Break through that.

WHat you want us to do is to shut the fuck up. That only happens when you give up. When an incel gives up. You would prefer that incels give up rather than do anything to try and make things easier for them. Thus reinforcing the fact that they are worthess I think you have it wrong here. No one cares. No one is going to make things "easier for you" just cause, but no one cares if you give up or not. There is no overarching figure who is laughing at you or cares.

Yes, agree, cause that 7 women is going to get with a 6-8 man with good social skills. I disagree with social skills being less important then looks, i think depending on the women, they will be neck and neck, 1A and 1B. I view status as sort of a given, where people with similar economic and social status are going to be matched up anyways. I think the issue here is that, we got like 4's with ZERO social skills wondering why they are not getting their looks match, or a women in general....

The thing is though. If your woman is with you for what you can provide, but not how you look or who you are. Then they are with your money. Not with you. And that is not a fun life I get what your saying...but also aren't the two linked? And that goes for both genders.

do you think it's totally fine for a girl to keep going on over 20 dates with a guy for 6 months... refuse to let him flirt, hold her hand or have any kind of physical contact during this timeframe. I don't believe a women should be "forced" to do anything....but that does seem weird. I also would think the guy is nuts for sticking around for 6 months without even kissing her. Yes, I was never a fan of TRP as a concept and thought it was just collection of well worn advice. I always thought the idea of this being a "red pill" really did not help dudes get over their "anger phase" and sort of let guys off the hook. Also the original idea of TRP was supposed to help the average dude elevate or understand, it was not some savior ideology for the completely hopeless, which those people have dominated the discussion on this sub and most conversations around this stuff. My …

Weather you agree with TRP or not, I think we can see that there are WAY too many navel gazers who pontificate about women who then recoil in horror when told they should actually maybe....go to a bar or party to talk to them.

but they never describe the average woman For a lot these brainwormed dudes, "average" is only having 100k likes on insta instead of 1 million. They live online and are only exposed to online projections of women.

OKcupid research The term research here is very loose haha. I did online dating form like 2009-2011. People Think OKcupid was just like Tinder. It was not. It was not at all and the people who did online dating back is a very different DEMO then those who do it now. Back in the day it went Match, e-harmony, then OKcupid, then Plenty of fish, you had to subscribe, some cost money etc. Way different landscape and unless you lived through it, you didnt know.

hookup culture is super overblown and mostly a media creation to scare parents. There are some subsets of people that heavily engage in it, buts its not the norm. Stats bear this out in terms of average partners per lifetime of each gender.

If one is married, it can be assumed that they have successfully dated someone, probably multiple people, have had sex, successfully interacted with the opposite sex etc. They have experience. Relationships and human interaction are things that need to be experienced to have perspective on. This is much preferable to a bunch of people who have never went to a bar, have zero friends or successfully dated a person naval gazing about the topic.

Exactly, why can’t other men get involved and help these incels then since they’re so concerned about them?? It’s because other men don’t give a fuck about them either, yet for some reason, they’re expecting women to give a fuck when they themselves don’t 🙃 I've tried. I've tried to give decent advice. It's important in attracting the type of partner you may want. I think this is based off the stubborn idea that some dudes have that women are some sort of monolith or are blank slates. I could be a total dick bag piece of shit loser and still have a partner, just the strong likelihood is that my GF is also going to be a dick bag piece of shit loser. Assortative Mating and such. Interesting. I suppose you could also say Bold and maybe even confident. I don't think being attracted to or more like admire, Fearlessness, Boldness etc is uniquely a women trait. Men admire and worship Bold and Fearless Men. Look at the most famous Generals. Always Bold Men, even if they were just ok Generals in terms of Logistics, Command etc....Teddy Roosevelt basically made his fame and reputation on being fearless " The Vice-President at that time, Thomas Marshall, is quoted as saying "Dea…

Water Tends to find it's level. You will find variations of course, but generally Water finds its level. Usually that chick going with that pill head dude who is in and out of rehab and jail? Yeah that chick is most likely at his level and shitty herself, no matter hwo "pretty" she is. So using hard hitting words like NEVER and ALWAYS...doesn't really work, but also Man Bites Dog. The Biggest Trope I see on this board is Touch Grass and Socialize. Which has nothing to do with the two pieces of "advice" above In terms of Approaching. Time Place and Manner. Howcome there isn't a movie about the sluttiest slut that ever slutted? There are tons. They are called Horror Movies. In Horror Movies the HUGE trope is that the slutty girls get killed (often while having sex even!) and the "Survivor" at the end is always the Nice Girl.

1 - As you grow older, your attraction to the gender you are attracted to broadens. You'll find older people more attractive as you yourself age. This is actually a HUGE point that goes missed. Main Character and Video Game thinking is Rampant on this Forum. I think it's like 90% of the issues PPD dudes have....never quite making the leap that yes...you are the main character of your story, but everyone else is the main character of theirs too! You see it with stuff like "Women care about looks!!!" , but they never make the mental leap that they do too...and we all do to a certain extent. The bad boy narrative is pure outsider bias. Men who don’t flirt, tease, and make others laugh frame men who do as rivals. As “bad boys”. Most aren’t bad, they are different than the hypercritical observer. Yeah it becomes the narrative of "women want bad boys" because it's easier to think that then the reality of "women just don't like me" so everyone else becomes a "bad boy" so you can retreat to Fort Morality. Is that an average and common occurrence or confined to a small niche segment of mentally unwell women? You can find scenarios of most anything in life. The human experience is vast. But think to yourself, does the average women write to prison inmates? You are pedestalizing women in this way. Instead of separating women in moral categories, like you might do with men (see above) you treat women as a monolith and assign actions to a small segment of women to all women.

Why isn't there more posts about Assortative Mating on this sub? It's a pretty well worn subject with multiple studies backing it up. Most people pair up with people similar to them, same socio economic background, religion, race, I dare say even looks. Also, the median amount of sexual partners people have is like 4-5. that study needs to look at larger age groups. Hard Age cutoffs fucks up the stats. I'm two years older then my wife, So if they surveyed my wife at 29 she would be in a relationship, but they wouldn't capture my data since Id be 31. Many relationships have a 2-3 age gap, with the average overall being 2.3 years. It skews all the data for like 27,28,29 year old women

No.1 Man Bites Dog. People talk about the bad but not the good. Millions upon millions upon millions of people successfully crossed a street today. They talk about the one guy who got hit by a car No.2 You said "have been"....People make mistakes. It happens, Relationships end, some are toxic, some are toxic for both, some are toxic for one, some just end. It's life. People learn, move on, or don't. My question is, how does this effect you?

That has nothing to do what I brought up. I am talking about morality. You have separated men into tiers, good men and bad men...But you did not do the same thing with women, saying "believe women want good men".... But Good women want good men, and bad women probably go to bad men. The a moral upper middle class hottie is more likely to go out with the moral finance guy then some scuzzy meth dealer. A shitty character women is going to go with the shitty scuzzy meth dealer.

No. There is a difference between the idea of "I would bang my friend" vs "I am friends with this person because I need/hope to bang them" It's a different mindset. I have had women friends who are objectively attractive and I would have sex with them, but I never felt the NEED to, and I wasn't their friend TO have sex with them. The idea of being married to your best friend is not universal too and it's how we define "best friend".

He says that they don't know the value of money. Yet he says 2 out of the over 30 people have dated were surprised he made 6 figures implying they don't know how much he actually cost to go out and have a fancy car That is not many. 6 Percent of the group he claims to date. You you make a judgement on a group of people based on what 2 out of over 30 don't know?

Oh Man, this post. You state 2 women our of the over 30 you have dated were surprised you have made 6 figures. That's at most 6 percent of the women you dates. Ok not exactly Most, and this is the most "compelling" evidence or anecdote you provided. Why do you assume people know the dollar figure on a Porsche? I'm a dude and I don't know, I know they are expensive, but I don't know the dollar amount. You could have said 70k or 500k and I wouldn't know. Most people are not going to know, because …

If PPD men actually did this, what you did, this sub would be empty. It's so MUCH easier to rant and rave and come up with complex theories about why you can't get laid, then actually look internally.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/23 05:44 PM

Ok....but do the stats bear that out? There are 26,000 murders a year in the US. There are 331 Million people in the US. Vast majority of murders are domestic or gang related. Random murders are insignificant...What is your quality of life if all you do is worry about randomly being murdered.

You are magnifying insignificant risk. What there are a couple of viral videos of that? And there is even a backlash against the women recording these..... But anyways, think of how many gyms are in the US ( Just 2,309 Planet Fitness locations in the United States alone!), and how may of them have daily interactions between men and women, even just in passing and what come out of it was a few viral videos? Yeah, I'm not worried about that as a dude or a women or a person.

That is the purpose of a date, to see if their is a spark or that you might be compatible....otherwise why not just pick lottery numbers and match up people that way? The date is a vessel to see if you all might get along. We do the same things with friends. You pick your friends right? That's a wild way to use "these days" and goes against pretty much everyone's understanding of what "these days" implies. But anyways nothing you said is anything to be outraged about. Do people want to be a their best when they first meet someone? YES! Why is that an issue? You are supposed to gradually build a relationship and learn about each other, good and bad. It pretty much is. Did you not say "these days" implying that it's new? Did the man not typically pay for dates back in the day? Did people not try to act their best selves in dates back in the day? Did being the Captain of the football team or head cheerleader or just a well liked popular person not matter back in the day? I don't know where you got these ideas from.

Pretty Much, happens a lot and for some reason, PPD thinks this is impossible. I think a ton of angst and topics are projections on the idea that they can't force attraction and are projecting on and pinning on one women who is just not into them. Is attraction there? Great, if not? MOVE ON. No declaration of love out of nowhere is going to work. If it does sell me the ticket to the movie

Every FUCKING WEEK someone posts about divorce rates and still think it's 1983....LOOK at the Data People. Divorce Rates are going down. People are getting married later and make better choices. People are not being forced socially into marriages. The idea that Being good looking is well...good.... is not secret. Why do people claim this? Are our Hollywood actors ugly? Even "Ugly" by hollywood standards is good looking. And Being confident does not mean be a jerk. I don't know why people think this. Most people like good looking confident people. I don't know how this has been mixed up. That's shit age grouping. 18-29 is way to large to sample and also where someone is at their life at 18 vs 29 is WAY different. Your grouping people who could still be in high school (18) and people who are 7 years out of college (29)....that's a huge leap. It also misses that many women date men older then they are, so your skewing data with a bunch of late 20's women dating early 30s men
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/23 04:24 PM

OR.... women tend to date older and this data only talks about people under 30. How many 28 year old women are dating a 30 year old guy?

And I would go even further is saying that most early basic Red Pill advice is not controversial at all. Be Fit, go to Gym, Socialize, don't put women on pedestal, date multiple people until your committed etc, like these are not groundbreaking ideas.

RP used to be meant like a small kick in the pants for average guys to get better with women. It was never meant for Total Losers and Cast offs and it was never meant to be some overarching ideology. Assortative mating account for the vast amount of relationships and marries and even hookups. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Assortative_mating If people actually got this concept, like 80% of the topics in PPD would disappear. But no. PPD focuses on like a handful of outliers, while ignoring that the vast amount of people get with someone who is in the same class as they are, and has similar looks range. In the beginning my inclination was that TRP was helpful for guys who needed a slight kick in the pants, not total....losers. Now you got guys coming in and acting like they just found the Ark of the Covenant because TRP says you should go to the gym and look good because women like guys who look good. Like this is some sort of hidden knowledge.

Sure....but like real people have always been like this....PPD just lets them collect into one place so it seems more outsized then it actually is. It's the Town Weirdo effect. Every town has a weirdo, but it's just one so it seems not a big deal. The internet lets all the town weirdo's congregate in one place, so it seems like it's an issue.

You have never cooked, taken care of a kid or done chores around the house huh? Or all three? Me and my wife double team everything and it is still exhausting. Sure some women do. some don't, some might date 1 asshole, a few might date a string. And some guys date bitches, some dont, some might date 1, a few date a string. And then we need to define what is an asshole. breakups can be messy, what men view as an asshole might be different then what that women thinks is an asshole.

I mean....that is what dating is about right? Finding the person who fits you? Do you think everyone realistically would get it right the first time? Or even the 2nd? This is exploration. This is what dating is. Most relationships fail. And that is perfectly normal.

Duh looks matter, but not in the way Black Pillers think or the way people interpret it. Looks don't matter if you want to get a women. Looks Matter if you want to get a particular women. Custody is automatically 50/50 unless the parties decide between them that they want a different arrangement. As per the above, 50/50 custody means zero child support with each parent being 50% responsible. This might be good for the parent, but family court rules on what is good for the kid. Imagine your parents live in 2 towns close to each other and you have to shuttle back and forth between the houses to let the parents get 50/50 custody. That sucks for the kid. Like really sucks.

/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/22 06:57 PM

Totally cool that's how you meet your wife. Not everyone has to go to the bar (And many bars have good standards I'm not just talking about dive bars)...to meet a person. I guess the issue comes in when say someone is hypocritical in their standards....if you have a certain set of standards....just know these standards can help or hurt you....If you don't want to eat McDonalds...fine, but don't complain your hungry after passing 5 of them on the highway.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/22 03:45 PM
1

I probably wouldn't choose 'the bar' because of the caliber of people that tend to gravitate to them. Some would think this is an unrealistic standard...you complained about women's standards....then dropped a pretty huge one of your own.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/22 03:26 PM
1

Of course not, everyone has standards. I don't personally care about those women's high standards either and if they end up lonely...no skin off my back.... Just typically see more posts by men on PPD complaining then women....Also Dating apps suck. Go out to Bars.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/22 02:52 PM
2

Yeah I think that's the Issue people have. I don't care about your preferences on a personal level. Don't give a shit....But if someone is posting on this sub about how women suck and they are lonely and blah blah blah but then turnaround and have these super standards....then yeah that person should expect some heated discussion on a forum designed for debate.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/22 02:22 PM
5

yeah agreed.....but the problem is like all those dudes have these standards (which they fail to apply to themselves often) and then bitch about it on here all day. If someone wants a 10/10 Virgin trad women....awesome...good for you, no one really gives a shit on a personal level....But when they start bitching about women and being lonely and ETC on this sub and make a thread a day about how women suck and it's not fair and blah blah bah....then it becomes an thing.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/22 02:19 PM

Blue pill advises men to become an autonomous door mat, ready to place yourself under somebody's feet at a moment's notice, and silently expect something in return. That is dangerous and unhealthy. Treat people with respect, but also say what you want. If it does not match, respectfully leave them alone. It's easy. I think thats a total misreading

/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/22 01:51 PM

Most people date in their looks and socio economic sphere needs to be pinned on every thread like this. You might see variations....Nurses are basically trades for women but need degrees, so you can see nurses with blue collar guys....but basically the lawyer is dating the lawyer and the 7/11 cashier is dating the CVS casier. I don't know why this concept is so hard.

Do you think such bikers have any trouble seducing women? I don't know, but is this the group of women you want? Biker women go with Biker Dudes, and more power to them, but it's a niche subculture. it’s a hotness thing It's also about being reasonable about the hobby. I have geeky hobbies, am not a model and it never effected my dating life. During 1st dates I don't wear a warhammer 40k shirt and talk endlessly about painting miniatures. It's a small part of who I am....not all of who I am.

The Hobby thing is total BS. It's not about the hobby, is how people replace their personality with the Hobby and get wicked weird about them. Many successful guys have "geeky" hobbies...Henry Cavill, Vin Diesel, joe magliano I'm married and make sci fi models and display them in our condo. Quick Story. Went out with a different girl, she came back to my apt at the time, saw all my war hammer 40k models I was painting and asked about them. I explained and we hooked up later that night. She did n…

yes, people marry later, don't get divorced, don't re marry = less marriages overall, that's probably one reason...Co- habitation could be another, less pressure to marry if a kid accidently gets made, prob another, don't need to marry to have sex, prob another....the idea that some niche community of reddit manosphere mgtows are skewing numbers that far is to me...foolhardy .

because rates don't imply total number which you are referring too. If a country had a rate of 100 murders per 1000 people, but is very small, it might not have a high total number of murders, it would be more dangerous then a very large country with a rate of 10 murders per 1000 people, even though the total numberof murders in the larger country might be higher.

/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/21 07:50 PM

First...your numbers are way off. Divorce Rates are at a all time low. Why? Because people are getting married later, thus more likely to make better partner decisions...and wealthier, smarter people are way less likely to get divorced they poor, stupid people. Your ideas on why marriage rates are lower are probably way off. Their is not the social pressure to marry young. People are co-habiting more and getting married later and divorcing less. So less divorce = less marriages overall. https://…

Has this friendship benefited you in a way that same sex friendship haven't? I have many female friends...I can't really think of ways they have benefitted me differently? Has a friend ever tried to make sexual/romantic advances on you? No, can't really recall any. Have you ever felt attracted to your friend? Sure, but in the same way you might be attracted to a celebrity. Never really interfered with the friendship Do you stop hanging out when any of you gets into a relationship? No, double dat…

There are many many posters here who I wonder if they actually get out of their house on a regular basis or even have baseline social skills and interactions.

“the sisterhood” This is social media crap that gullible people buy into. They see one "you go girl" meme and they think all women are united. hahahahahah. How stupid is that? Just look at the varying opinions women have on abortion, one of their most important rights and a battleground issue. Red Pillers see monsters under their bed and make up things to lay blame on. All women are in a sister hood! That's why all women voted for Hilary right? Or women are all united and are the majority in the…

“this is how it is” as proof. You know how many posts in PPD start with "We all know that XYZ" and the conclusion is some sort of stupid generalization that has no basis in reality? I sometimes will try to debate or chime in but it becomes apparent you are talking to someone who really never has had any substantive interaction with the real word. Or has had one bad experience (from thier POV) and does not know how to emotionally handle it.

I've always had a inkling on this, my boomer father would point out "wierd" kids he knew growing up (like if we drove past them on the street), the way he described thier behavior ....most likely would be diagnosed with autism or aspergers today instead of just being the "wierd" kid

Let's get one thing straight - ALL romantic love is conditional. One of the Many many hang ups of The Red Pill, They complain women don't love unconditionally, but the idea of unconditional love is a fallacy. They portray themselves as so logical, yet buy into the concept of unconditional love. I love my wife, but if she cheated on me, I don't think that love would still be there and vice versa. Love is conditional. And that's OK and normal. Love is also very complex, much like a mother can stil…

Because most happy normal couples are not vocally and visually fighting over various platforms and making headlines. the News doesn't report on the tons of normal couples that live their life everyday without anything major happening, they report on the one offs...the exceptions they out of the norm....How many happy couples do you scroll through on Facebook but only stop when you see drama in someone's status?

Those women are nuts. But the VAST VAST majority are not. Some men want to fuck dead bodies, but the VAST VAST majority do not. Do you judge men on the actions of a few fetishist who fuck dead bodies? No you don't. Red Pill wants STATS, but then ignore that a serial killer getting a couple of dozen letters vs the 165 MILLION Women in the US means that those dozen of letters means SHIT.

Social circle stuff has always been underemphasized by RP, probably because its hard/impossible to be prescriptive about, and the payoff can be very long term. But approaching in a warm context is way way way easier. Basically one of the many problems with RP is that they eschew Social Circle Stuff for Cold Approaches. I have a few theory's why.... Many of these men don't have strong social skills to support a good social circle. I'm going to guess also a lot of men with strong social circles do…
