Except that this didn't happen. That's exactly what happened. Media focuses on gender violence against women in conflict zones despite the fact that men and boys make up the vast majority of all the victims. Not in article in the OP they're not. The people who created an artificial gender issue were the feminists And then you joined the party. The only discrimination I see is that women aren't being massacred alongside men. Oh won't anyone think of the womyns! Oh the horrible discrimination, to …

You carefully omit the fact they most likely take the girls to skullfuck them until they bleed to death, as any self respecting fanatic would. The few that survive get sold as sex slaves. Way to create artificial gender issue out of nowhere. You sir would make an excellent feminist.

Meh, this one is easy, you've just been doing it backwards. Throwing around random examples of men having it hard ,is never going to work here. Textbook socratic method is your friend. Start by defining what discrimination is, then move toward the situation in question from there, defining all other relevant concepts that may pop along the way. The key thing to understand is she needs to do all the defining and you just lead her on. Both of you need to agree on these before moving further - if s…

makes one wonder why you never hear about that. Propably because its completely false. There were restrictions, yep, but majority of male population could vote. No women could vote before the war was over. Thank you, come again.

This subreddit is about aiding all to be equal. Looks more like this subreddit is mostly about sharing each others butthurt, because thats the only way I can explain something as ridicolous as people whining about being violently opressed by the feminists in 1910s.

Yet they weren't going to war. They weren't putting their lives on the line and suffering through trench warfare. Woman in 1914 couldn't even go to war if she wanted to. Plus what exactly would be a point in going to war when you're a second-grade citizen with no right to vote, not to even mention holding an office? Go to war to defend what, exactly, system that doesn't even treat you like a human being? I think I'd pass. I get what you were trying to say but with people's the comments it evolve…

As opposed to not even being allowed something as basic the right to vote? Good one.

Except , unlike today, women actually WERE discriminated gender during WWI so the whole affair was completely reasonable. If you're privileged because of your ability to defend home and country, you better go and do your duty when there's a need. You might want to put things in context before pointing fingers at "crazy old school feminists"

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
