Where did you hear this? Slaves were primarily in the South for agricultural work. Our Industry was in the North. Also, slaves didn't work on any infrastructure or innovation. Where do you get the idea that slaves built anything? Unless you mean originally slaves helped the economy of the heavy agricultural economy of the South. But that's a tough argument, considering that OP mentioned all European Immigrants that lived in the North.

She couldn't have possibly known she was infertile. That's not the mothers fault.

And now we know who has kids or who does not. It's biology, a mother does not have her best interests in mind, she has her kids best interest in mind. Her best interests are for her offspring to be as successful as possible and to carry on her genes. This includes have successful relationships which women who can be a good wife and mother herself. A mans goal is the same as his mothers. Find a good wife and have successful children who will do the same.

Not new, just had a few bad GFs that my mother warned me about, but I didn't listen. Your mom has nothing but your best interest in mind, it's biology.

That's a ridiculous statement and completely false. You need to listen to your mother on dating issues. She's a woman and she knows all the games. She will weed out the gold diggers and party girls way before you even have a suspicion. Your mother won't be fooled by any BS excuses or stories. Do yourself a favor and listen to your mother more often and really absorb what she says and why she says it. I wish I could roll back time and listen to my mother when I was younger.

What about offspring? The whole purpose of life is to procreate, so wouldn't producing offspring be something of value? It seems everything is secondary to fulfilling your life purpose.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
