7	This double standard infuriates me Agreed. But I don't think this is a /r/MensRights issue because both men and women should have a say in this matter. There's misinformation on both sides, even in modern times. EDIT: Whoops. Brain fart. You're right, this is actually a men's rights issue, and I don't believe male (or female) circumcision should be practiced. I just meant that both parents are victim to misconceptions and misinformation. And that must be changed. 25	This double standard infuriates me There's a video out there that explains circumcision as being not so much for reasons of religion (these days), but of a parent's reasoning that "I was circumcised, my son should be like me".
