You're describing egalitarianism. Feminism is about the promotion of women's issues and women in general. It would be unfeminist for Komen for the Cure to start shilling for testicular cancer awareness, but it would be very egalitarian of them.

If he was convicted and she was acquitted, that's explanation enough for me. It's not to say that women don't get preferential treatment in some cases, but as others in this thread have said, the post is gone so there's no comparison to make.
