I never disagreed. But violence still doesn't have to beget violence.

It is not that hard to kill someone by accident over stupid bullshit. One well placed swing can easily cause permanent brain damage or otherwise. Even if the kid is scrawny, he still likely has more upper body muscle than the girl does. If he hit her more cleanly and she hit the ground, she'd have needed more than stitches.

depending on the state, yeah, you pretty much can. people will give you smack for it for sure, but it's right there in the big book of bullshit rules, so I mean... as for if it'll actually be ruled in your favor, I couldn't say.

but we don't have those restrictions anymore in a first world setting. Now it's more of active pushes to get women into it brute force. If they want to, the opportunity is very open.

You and I both know that you're not joking, you're not wrong, and that's just fucking strange that it has to be that way. Identify as a woman and get refused because you aren't one, discrimination case. But call them out on their bullshit as a man and you're just sexist and no one will listen.

I feel like him adding "try" to this negates this though. Your only job in a legitimate fight is to get out of it. Whoever gets to go home safely afterwords won, doesn't matter if it's everybody or nobody.

phrasing aside, red is right. mother's day is for mothers. fathers's day for fathers. it's already equal.

This is completely not true. I only say this because I hope to god you never have to deal with this sort of situation and find out later you did it wrong. We only actually take into our bodies about a quarter of the O2 inhaled. The air is approximately 80/20 Nitrogen/Oxygen, with some other odds and ends mixed in we aren't concerned with right now. We breath out roughly 15% O2 on exhalation. That's 15% more than...zero, really. short video related from the AHA: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dY…

I don't know where you heard this. Maybe as a literal bystander, yes, but even then it would only work for a very short period, maybe 3-5 minutes or so. Ambulance personnel will use oxygen and ventilate with a bag valve mask. Even before I got my EMT card, I did a basic first aid course in like 2016 and even then they told us to supply oxygen. Ideally you'd have a mask on you, some form of barrier just for your own sake really, but if not the old classic pinch the nose, tilt the head back, blow …

bit late, but it's not an east situation. how would you help this? say you have no idea how to fight, never thrown a decent punch in your life, and you don't know what the fuck just happened that they're wailing on this guy. these two big black guys who look like they could drop you too. what do you do?

/r/2007scape is also filtered out, because it's a very niche thing. It doesn't necessarily have to be censorship; it could just be a major lack of interest. Or, as you say, people are filtering it out intentionally, which also makes plenty of sense, and still yet only feeds to the argument that people just don't want to see posts from here in /r/all. That's just how it is.

they'd be running about 7mph to have that time, at a steady pace too. it is low, but if they sprinted it they'd run out of energy before they make it to half a mile.

heh, whenever i see divorce/custody posts on this subreddit it puts a bittersweet taste in my mouth. my parents were divorced and my mom got custody simply because the court thought she was more stable than my dad. it's actually the complete reverse, my mother is a judgemental, rude, insulting bitch and my dad is the one who supports us. in give or take a month i intend to file for a custody switch. right now it's on visitations to my dad.

antisemitism is pretty much racism/discrimination aimed directly toward jews. zionism is the love of israel as a state. zionists are people who support israel's existence.

my dad said he pays 2k/mo for both me and my sister, me being nearly 15 and her 16. he also has a wife and they have a 3yro daughter. not sure if that affects anything.

the explanation on this rape culture stuff helped a lot, thank you. this is definitely one of the more interesting subreddits, but doesnt it have its flaws as well? it seems to focus a lot on the wrongdoings of women and the lack of punishment. i get that if you switch the genders people would've flipped shit across the world, but isn't that a very clear fact at this point in the game?

the current things i got a grasp on from this subreddit is that men got screwed by society in recent years and feminists think that everything about men is bad. i feel like a small child in first grade right now...how would one explain rape culture? that i dont get at all. it sorta sounds like everything is rape.

so it has to do with choice of it...i see. that'd be a more touchy area, as judaism and islam both require circumcision at certain ages. well, not gonna get into it, i got my answer for that, thank you. i'm also fairly unclear on the topic of women's rights activism vs. feminism? i'm getting that there's a big difference, but can anyone explain what that is?

so in short, it's still growing for the rest of the world other than canada. i strongly agree with father's custody rights. one of my mother's friends has custody over his daughter, as the mother wasn't a good parent, i never got any details past that. it's very conditional though, if she screws around a lot or starts failing in school he'd lose custody. unconditional custody is one thing i hope to see grow. aside from that, i wish the kids had more choice over these matters. my mother used to b…
