Go read up on what Dave Ramsey has to say on this, smart guy when it comes to being debt free. You can take his religious portion of his teachings however you like, but his plan will make you debt free. Following his basics, save an emergency fund, and don't touch it... Which looks like you have done, then pay, pay, pay off that debt! I used this after my second divorce and have been essentially debt free for a very long time. I jumped off his teachings a bit, letting some of my debt go to colle…

Men and women are wired differently for being turned on, we all know that. Romance novels for women equate to porn video for men. I am an author (Amazon bestselling) and under a pseudonym, I write serialized erotic short fiction for women. I see no problem with women reading romance, just as I see no problem with men watching porn, rules of moderation notwithstanding. The short stories I write for women are not bestsellers like some of the work written under my real name, but they are steady inc…

It was actually a good conversation/debate, and I am always cordial as long as the person I am conversing with is cordial.

Getting married is not a good idea at any time. If not just for the MGTOW reasons there are literally "marriage tax" issues when you become married you WILL pay more taxes to Federal, State, etc. She has home equity, meaning she is a home owner. Do you already cohabitate? She would be making the lion's share of the income in your household if you marry, as she already does now. She wants to get married, you said in your other post in /r/Divorce that she said it would make her happy. i am not try…

Oh, yea, I understand now. I first started interacting with girls on an "gee, I like you" level in the early 80's and learned not to be a dork about it in the very late 80's. LOL And yes, that is a much different time than now.

I am definitely not a TRP kind of guy. I am a guy with no legs and only 5 fingers who walks on prosthetics. I am perceived by most anyone who doesn't know me through some form of pity glasses, or worse. I brought up the early 20s guys and called them "beta" because I see this so often in the younger generation. I don't call them beta because I don't believe they can't get a girl, I call them beta because they don't take care of themselves, are unhealthy looking, and many of them have no goals. P…

I get where you're coming from, but I guess I look at things differently. I only hold a "frame" I guess when I can't be myself. We all hold a certain tone/frame in business transactions, jobs, talking to the boss, etc. that don't allow us to just be ourselves. For me, being myself IS being a confident person who says pretty much whatever he wants. That is the way I am when I am around my good friends when I can just be me. To the point, most of my friends good-naturedly call me an asshole, but a…

Dude, really. You don't want a guy with no legs. You are way too good for me. Let's just be friends.

I did twice, marriage both times. Learned my lesson 10+ years ago and have been MGTOW since then. Now my credit score is through the roof, I have no debt, and have all the time in the world to travel, ride motorcycles, enjoy life, and keep and spend my money the way I want!

If I enjoyed the interaction simply for the sake of it, who used who, who did the favor, and who got something for free or paid for it? It's all in perspective. It could have simply been a mutually beneficial transaction where the old guy with no legs got a self-esteem boost and a beautiful young reporter got an interview for her story.

No worries. Apology totally accepted. Besides, it's hard to go bankrupt when you have no debt.... Unless, of course, you bring a woman into your life lol

"Good luck "how you doing'ing" yourself into bankruptcy." Wow, my friend, I wasn't talking about taking her home or even getting her number, I was talking about calling her over and engaging conversation just for kicks.

I call BS. The only way to walk out of a divorce relatively unscathed is to not have any joint accounts at all, keep vehicles in separate names and have no kids(yes, I am aware of the common property stuff). In my state, at least, if there are no kids involved generally the divorce is pretty simple. In my second divorce, it was simple. She wanted the house and the car, I told her lawyer that's cool, she can have them both. BUT, she needs to take on the payments. The house was in both our names, …

You go your own way however you choose. For me, it is writing, (I am a bestselling author) keeping myself in shape/training, riding motorcycles, and travel. Only you can decide what going your own way is for you. It's basically doing whatever you want and don't let a woman reap ANY of the rewards from your efforts to do what you want. That is really the key point, YOU reap the rewards of whatever you do, and a woman does not. It's not about being mean/cruel to a female, but about you concentrati…

I have an amazing ability to stay alive with extremely low blood pressure. I have been a walking, talking, lucid person at 56/30. My Normal BP is 90/60. They were running me through dialysis at 36/??. Also, they pumped Xygris (SP?) through me, and that I am told is what saved my life.

When they lie for no other reason than to see if you will believe them. when instead of talking out a problem they jump straight to tears or screaming to simply get their way. When they blow a grand out of your account and don't even have anything to show for it. When they decide it is your fault for working late that they didn't fix dinner. When you ask how their day went and they just break down in tears because the house isn't clean and the kids aren't fed and they accuse you of thinking they…

My second ex excuse for leaving her good paying job was she wanted to go back to college. I told her sure, as long as you are in school don't worry about working. She lasted one semester then quit college. Didn't get a job until I dropped the divorce on her she asked for. Lol then she got two jobs.

I hate the term handicapped, it is so all inclusive. It puts me in the same boat as Hawking when I'm not. So I call myself simply an amputee. I am technically disabled, but again label doesn't quite fit. I had my check out moments early on, wanted to end it and am now glad I didn't. If you can't find a way to train in what you love because of your injury you need to put that energy elsewhere. Or find a way. I wish I could say something more to that for you, but it is my truth. I train Gracie Jiu…

It is a conscious choice to be ok with it. Also a conscious choice to fall apart over it. I prefer the former to the latter!

I should have marked that first quote as /sarcasm. I want blaming myself, I was being sarcastic about what she did and who's fault it was. As for the other, there are straight fetishist out there and it had little to do with virtue signaling.

You are welcome. Marriage sucks, but not kids. I am totally glad I have my son. If I could have had him and left his mother out of the equation that would have been much better on my bank account, though lol

No need to be sorry about my legs, I'm not. Just something that happened, ya know? I got to retire at the age of 37. I wasn't happy about it then, but after a few years of waking up and asking myself "what cool shit can I do today?" I'm not really tore up about it, lol.
