3	How I overcame Social Anxiety I have to agree with scripting in my case, especially to get you started. I actually had a huge problem with telephone calls in particular, and my boss at my first job suggested I script some of the parts of the call that I found most awkward on a pad. I referred to this usually when I first started the call, and once I got comfortable, I could then break from the script.
