I don't vote for my team; I vote strategically. If an election's close in my state/district, I regretfully vote Dem. If not, I regretfully vote Green. In Sweden (I'm dual), which doesn't have an FPTP system, I vote for the communists. Simple as that.

Two data points is a binary, not a spectrum. Hormone levels - including those of testosterone, progesterone, and estrogen - all impact your behavior and physical growth. I'm a male with long legs and wide hips (feminine), but also broad shoulders, a wide jaw, and a lot of hair (masculine). That's already three sliding scales. Who is this 'society' person and when did they tell you this? /r/badsociology Never in my life heard a man make a statement that disagrees with the above, see plenty of wom…

How interesting your life must be when you have no understanding of history and economics. The US Democrats are neoliberals. Austrian school of economics. Same with the Republicans. Think Reagan, Obama, Thatcher, Trudeau, Macron. Social Democrats, such as FDR, the Kennedys, Bernie, are Keynesianists. Think the old European consensus. Northern and Western Europe in the sixties. Leftists are Marxian. Marxian economics is a bit different. Think Castro, Rojava.

¯_(ツ)_/¯ it's ok I see it in leftist places too but not as often Most users upvoted though, only a few kept going down the thread and downvoting me. That means I was wrong about the alt-right majority here. All good vibes tho :)

No, I just don't let myself get angry at people on the internet anymore so I wander around allowing myself to learn and sometimes teach.

I actually take a lot of pride in my very healthy social life! It's something I put a lot of effort into establishing and maintaining! Thanks for your concern though!

I hope you don't mind if I critique a little. I don't want to make you feel bad or start shit. SJW's fit with liberal ideology I don't think you have a good understanding of liberalism. Most "SJWs" hate it, including me. push globalism/large blanket government Almost every anarchist is a radical feminist. I think you're getting your political information from some less-than-trustworthy sources. Basically wanting the government to ban anything that offends them and to regulate everything. No, fuc…

Yup! Sex is a combination of your genitalia and hormones, a real, biological thing, but still a spectrum with at least two dimensions. Gender is just a personality that society TELLS you to have because you were born with a penis/vagina. Like no thanks, I'm a hetero male but I don't have to feel pressured to be muscular, aggressive, or a financial provider. I prefer being "just" fit, caring, and comfortable financially.

Sure, but I'm an anarcho-communist who believes gender is a toxic social construct that should be abolished, so I needed to distinguish myself from the majority alt-right users of this sub. Edit: well it looks like the incel brigade is here. Interesting how this comment was +5 at one point. Some sensible people here for sure.

Well no, I never call myself an SJW outside of right-leaning internet forums. I was just using the term here because it's shorter than saying I'm a bit of a radical feminist compared to the typical user here.

Why? I believe full gender equality - even in cases of prison sentencing and family court matters. That's why I'm here.

I'm an SJW and I support what he said. Did y'all read the document? Let's look at groups as distributions and avoid generalization.

I'm sorry if this causes offense, but it really seems like everyone here - especially those downvoting me - have never actually had sex before and therefore lack a nuanced understanding of it. Here are a few threads to answer your question: [1] [2] [3]

Ehh, it's not offensive. No one has their boxers in a twist. It's just... edgy and immature. And it's incorrect - middle-aged women are much better sexual partners than young ones.

It's sad really. I came here as a feminist who felt mens' issues were just as important to address. Now I can't stand this sub. It used to be progressive, now it's alt-right.

Is /r/mensrights really this conservative? I'm rather far left (and I hate Hillary as well!) and I really feel out of place in this thread. I've been here a while, but I never thought of it as a reactionary backlash to liberalism.

Ok, what's the name?

Exactly. We don't hate those feminists. They were arguing for actual gender equality. When I describe my distaste for feminism, I always make the distinction that I (pretty far left) hate feminists because I believe in gender equality, while my Tea Party uncle hates feminism because he doesn't believe in gender equality.

And I agree with you there. Also, don't think I'm one of the few who downvoted you; I didn't. Though I do agree with /u/igetript's comment.

If one person is unable to consent, i.e. unable to stand up or speak coherently, then that is pretty clearly rape, is it not? Yes, of course, but that's not at all what we're talking about. Refer to the original post: seducing you while you were drunk That is the subject. And it's still malicious (if not rape) to invite someone over or offer them drinks with the intent of getting them drunk so that they'll have sex with you, no? It's taking advantage of someone else, it's manipulative, but I def…
