I've said it to another dude on here before, but I'll reiterate it for you: seduction can be a double-edged sword, but that's only if you're not wielding it right. Some guys tend to get really caught up in the "game" aspect, to the point where nothing is enjoyable, girls aren't people anymore, just a set of numbers to nick on your bedpost. What you want is to strike a balance between your own self and self-improvement, and game strategy. Now, I'm not dissing the game or strategizing at all, beca…

Haha, good for you. Even though a lot of women (and men, too!) are probably put off by your approach and your goals, you ultimately know what you want, are honest about it, and have found other women who understand that and consent to whatever it is you do with them. As long as you're not hurting anybody, you're good. Kudos man.

Also, I found a great article that I think you'd like and that would help you: 8 Misconceptions of the "Alpha Male" Pay special attention to point 7!

Dude... I'm so sorry. That sounds like a really shitty situation, and honestly I wouldn't even think about getting back on the seduction horse just yet because this isn't just some girl who fucked you up, it's legitimate abuse and trauma. Please get therapy. You owe it to yourself and your future hookups/girlfriends to be the best you can possibly be, body and mind.

The whole seduction community can be a double-edged sword: on the one hand, it can really help you improve yourself in more ways than just girl-grabbing ability (like all the examples you mentioned about becoming more confident and fit), and on the other, it can be a machine that chews up guys with personality and spits out a cookie-cutter "alpha male." Some of the guys in the community who only use these skills for cutting notches in their bedposts don't help much, either. That kind of pressure…

Talking too much is only really a problem when it's one-sided. Interject your "rambles" with a question to involve your partner. As long as you keep them interacting, then that's good and it makes them more interested and it makes YOU more interesting. It's only bad when it's just you talking about all you you you and your stuff. Remember to pay attention. And if nothing's really going well, then hey, you can't win'em all. I'd listen to /u/Vyrux and own your personality. If you play too fake jus…

What's the first thing you notice about them—how attractive they are? Because that's probably what makes you wanna bang'em (I know that's how it is for me, heh). This is gonna sound weird but try getting to know them just as a person. If she's talkin' to you about the fact that she likes Gene Wolfe books but maybe not his latest series, don't stare dumbly at her boobs and nod, ask her why, even if you don't know who the fuck Gene Wolfe is. Find out. Pretend she's a dude. Something like that. My …

Absolutely drop that line you just mentioned. "Hey I don't want to lead you on, you seem cool but I'm not really feeling it" and if you think that's too harsh you can add on "I think we're better as friends" or something. If you had the balls to start strong, have the balls to end strong, too. None of that hiding or fading away bullshit.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
