I absolutely look at getting at least as much as I put into it. I feel the same way about women, cars, contracts ... pretty much everything in life except my kids and charity. Why else would I do things?

You're almost there, but you need to change your mindset. You need to get yourself into a position where if she did cheat, while you certainly be hurt, you would be excited about the next phase of your life. I love my gal to pieces. She's beautiful, submissive, self-sufficient and an outstanding yin to my yang. I'm confident I would eventually catch her and she knows if she strays, I'd leave. It would be painful to leave or demote her. But ... I also know that within short order I would be gorgi…

The math is the same, although your TDEE needs decline slightly as you lose weight. The calculator I use, www.tdeecalculator.net, says your basic caloric needs dropped from 2,713 at 280 lbs. to 2,577 now, excluding exercise. Those last 15 lbs. require you to expend 52,500 calories more than you eat over any given period. Whether that is through eating less, avoiding alcohol, working out more, not eating on Wednesdays ... whatever. If you eat that many fewer calories, you'll lose 15 lbs.

Fuck counseling. You're going to sit through hours of hearing about her ailments, your shortcomings and learning how to "listen to one another." Your problem is rooted in being too nice of a guy and this process is designed to make you nicer.

Women subconsciously reinforce the feminine-correct goal state of LTR monogamy by a continuous, autonomous, expectation of its fulfillment – even when that fulfillment creates cognitive dissonance with their short term vs. long term sexual strategy. > I have a Master's degree and find most sentences here to be like solving a riddle. Too much effort for me.

Swim With the Sharks Without Being Eaten Alive by Harvey Mackay. Silly title, but the guy became rich in a tough business — printed envelopes — through solid skills. Excellent bite-sized lessons. Similarly How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie is one of the best books on business psychology around. Derek Sivers at Sivers.org has some very good business advice. 4-Hour Workweek by Tim Ferriss has a lot of bullshitty hype, but also some solid lessons, from organizing yourself out…

Your diet is 95% of the battle. First, track the calories since most people underestimate their intake. A free app like MyFitnessPal makes it easy and also lets you know what kind of a cushion you have while avoiding the "oh shit, I blew the day" surrenders. Heavy protein and light carbs makes total sense. From there, it's simple math. If you average 2500 cal a day, you should lose 1.2 pounds a week. You could push that a bit if you want to, but I wouldn't go more than a 7,000 cal deficit per we…

I never lie because I don't fear anyone. You only lie when you're afraid. —John Gotti Never lie about looking at a beautiful woman. Never apologize for it. In moderation, it's not disrespectful and she should be taking notes on your taste. It's hard for me to know whether she's driven by lack of self-esteem, a power play or something else. There's a lot of advice here on how to deal with her, although she certainly seems like a cunt from your description.

I once saw a news clip with a young man in near tears because he was unemployed. There he was on national TV, with a death metal t-shirt, stupid earring and stupider hair talking about his plight. I bet a thousand employers watching thought the same thing as me: in your time of need, if you can't at least comb your fucking hair and present yourself decently, you won't be getting much help. You remind me of him.

My teenage daughter would either roll her eyes at this or just be confused. I didn't raise children with a victim mentality, so she doesn't feel put upon by society. Even my boys would laugh at the pussies in the manosphere who continually harp about how society sucks for them. Consider using this as a good opportunity to bring up interesting issues with your girls, if they're old enough, or your wife. Ask them if they've been called those words as a kid and, if so, did they really fucking care?…

You know your wife better than dudes on the internet, but she's as big as a house, probably at the height of discomfort a normal person could be in, dealing with an energizer bunny toddler and still up for sex 2-3 times a week. And apologetic because she knows it's lacking. It doesn't sound like she lacks motivation.

The typo in the headline, lack of paragraph returns and general rambling certainly don't help. But what makes his post even worse is the complete lack of context for anyone to give beyond basic "sidebar" advice. It's difficult to imagine woman who's cunty to him because it's his birthday, so he's got other problems with her going on. Ages? Time together? Any real reason for her bitchiness? SMV status? Frequency of the problem? Throw us a bone. It's like he posts "i have a rash can u help me?" an…

First of all, who fucking cares what some chick at the hospital calls herself? Different strokes. There was a time where it would have been a marriage deal breaker for me. Now, since my LTR is a public person, it's probably a "2". Hell, I just hope my kids don't ruin my name since I like to keep it in good shape.

First of all, you're never going to be the cock of the roost when you're living with the hen's parents. Secondly, you don't give enough context here, besides no money no money no money, to say why your sex life is declining. Are you initiating as often as before or are you getting bored? If you are slowing down, fucking get creative. Read and implement the Sex God Method. If she picks up what you're throwing down, all will be good. If your libido is down because you're stressed with the business…

Being nonchalant. Guys have different levels of sexual happiness here, so our tactics and attitudes should be different. Look, I'm very in synch with my girl in the sex department and in the very rare times where she's tired or not in the mood, it's absolutely no big deal to me. I'm not a baby who's going to cry because I didn't get my dessert, so I kiss her on the forehead and go do something else. For guys denied too often, the whole MRP philosophy can be condensed to 1) make sure you're a guy…

This "leave the house" thing is a difficult play and I'd guess 92.7% of the guys who zip up their pants and flee the house look completely, absolutely butthurt. That's because they are completely, absolutely butthurt. It shows, especially to your wife. It will still raise dread, but fellas you're not fooling anyone. She sees it as easily as you see her stamp her feet. Acting looks easy, but it's really fucking hard and few guys can win an Oscar. Heck, you could easily read George Clooney's mind …

This dude is going through hell and people here can help him. We don't need to be nursemaids, but he needs more than "you're shitty" even if it's the truth. Maybe that's the reason for the downvotes.

I don't understand this. Don't factor in money while figuring SMV even though money can buy experiences, vacations, stuff, time, security and self-confidence? It's not an end-all-be-all, but a substantive factor intertwined into all elements of your attractiveness. I don't talk about my income or bank accounts, but being financially successful is a huge indicator of having my shit together. Physical looks are great, but still take a back seat to "success" for mature men.

Absolutely. It's also a reason why many women like being tied up. The control is out of their hands, so they can be kinky by proxy. A lot of guys get so wrapped up in anger or game that they forget this important part of a woman's psyche.

Self confidence. Many, perhaps most, women lack it. Too often RP men lose sight of this. It calls for strategy tweaking and looking at behaviors from a different perspective.

I'm glad to see someone clearly articulate beyond "dread." Fear can be a great motivator, but it's generally works best in the short-term. If you've ever managed employees, you can scare them with losing their jobs to get them moving, but only for so long. Same in the military. Same with wives. Dread gets them off their asses, literally, but for the long-term, maintaining high attractiveness is mandatory.

In a nutshell: stop worshipping pussy and improve yourself. The guys are on point here when they say you have a low SMV, certainly in your "tired" wife's eyes as she baits you to find a girlfriend. I recommend: Do what's always recommended here, read that sidebar then read it again until you understand it. Embark on the levels of "dread", especially Level 2, which is self-improvement. I don't know all your details, but I'd bet my house you have a LOT of self-improvement in front of you. Do it an…

You need to put your pants on and leave the bed when she refuses a position. Be OI about it, don't act butthurt or angry, just leave. This is a pretty standard refrain around here, but how on earth can in the midst of good-but-not-doggy-style sex, stop, put on your pants and leave without looking butthurt? I've never tried, but I simply can't imagine any clever phrase or facial expression that could conceal that level of butthurtedness.

Your gf adores you, fucks you a lot and you're satisfied with your relationship. Call me a beta, but I would have given her a ride. You were just about done with your work, it's just a couple minutes away by car and she's cold and/or tired after hanging out with her sister. She asked nicely and you swatted her down. I wouldn't feel obligated to do it, but unless I was really tired, I'd do it for a buddy and I'd do it for my girl.

Hard to give advice to a one-sentence setup. If my dad truly insulted my wife and made her feel unwelcome, he wouldn't be invited into my home. That's like insulting me and life's too short, even for dad.

I remember reading the recent story where the prepped a sex alter (rose petals, candles, naked dude on bed) for his wife who had just come back from a business trip. I could only imagine her trying to go from exhausted to sexy in 10 seconds. Instead of approaching her with a rager, there's nothing wrong with earlier kino to get her thinking sexy. A slow squeeze on the arm or breathy whisper will get her into a different mindset before you go in for the kill.

No boners is often a medical issue, but low libido and depression go hand-in-hand. My own deep seated happiness is tied to whether I believe I'm accomplishing something worthwhile in life, but YMMV. Good luck.

I scrolled through your past Reddit posts. About 90% of your them are about video games, your toy collections, comics or other shit that most guys outgrew when they started using their dick for something besides tugging. You spend too much time on Reddit, are pretty darn passionate about circumcision and you're almost(?) too stressed out to drive a car. Your wife isn't your biggest challenge, you are.

You can't look weak, but you do need to act. Yes, you can lift harder, but really, assuming you're not a train wreck you won't be raising his SMV much in the upcoming days or months. Yes, if she's set on cheating she'll cheat, but you can greatly minimize that. Here's a likely scenario: she's in a grey area that can go many ways. She's getting light tingles because someone new is paying attention to her and, so far, hasn't crossed any real lines. In her mind, they are absolutely "just friends." …

It's also a sign of their overall libido. I know we think that Brad Pitt can turn every woman into a screaming slut, but all women aren't like that. You can affect their moods, but just like some guys think of nothing but pussy and others less so, some of it is ingrained.

One area that RPers usually underestimate is how often women are wracked with doubt and lack of self-confidence. You have the ball gag so you've thought of this, but consider a few bondage sessions. When a woman wears a blindfold and you've tied some or all of her limbs ... it frees her. She no longer has to worry about whether her BJ is too fast or any of the other 5,000 things plaguing her mind and is insecure about, hence your "mock face" analogy. Bondage is basically "leadership" in bed take…

/r/askMRP doesn't have enough people to answer questions well and regular /r/asktrp is too filled with guys bragging about how big their balls are to really help. "Next that plate!" gets tiresome. For my taste, this is the only RP themed sub that I'd trust to answer my relationship questions.

Sometimes, I find it helpful to pretend that my teenage daughter took the same action as my SO. If she posted a "Dad's are stoopid" meme, I wouldn't get irate but I'd be disappointed that she lumped me in with those losers and I'd let her know. She'd either apologize for just being cute or really believe it, which is a deeper issue. Of course, the irony is that if we switched genders on that cartoon, it'd fit fine in the sidebar.

When I started showing some muscle gains, my SO started looking at her body more critically and wanting to improve herself to keep up with me even though she didn't say that out loud. It was more, "Gee do you think my breasts are perky enough?" That's the time to let her know easy upgrade. If that time doesn't come soon, just tell her outright how you prefer it. Worst case is a rejection, but as you continue to get improve your value, she'll be more receptive.

Maybe this wasn't a comfort test. Or a shit test. Maybe she was just really fucking tired. It sounds as though you have a healthy, spicy sex life and it's common that she's joining you for morning showers. Is denial becoming more frequent? If so, that's a bigger issue. If not, don't ignore her and be cold. If it's a really rare event, even cuddle with her. (Or knock one out if you feel the need.) This is great advice and the "bringing something to the party" analogy works pretty well for relationships. I've made it fairly clear to my SO that we each bring different things to our relationship. I'm good with leadership, extra cash, killing spiders and more. Her "bring" starts with sex and bringing happiness into my life. Simplified, but true and good that we both know it.

I wouldn't be quite so quick to dismiss this, with some nuances. Japan transformed from an aggressively warlike society to "Pokemon central" in the mid 1940s. The best rationale for that is death and occupation. Lots of people died, but 3 major countries — Russia, Germany, Japan — stand out with substantially higher death rates. Japan lost about 3% of their population in combat, Russians and Germany about 6%. By contrast, the U.S. lost 0.3% and even Italy was only at 0.7%. (These numbers don't i…

It's a good question. Personally, I view the whole gaming advice as similar to watching salesmen trade tips on how to find leads and close them. You certainly don't have to love/like the target in either instance, only the goal whether that is scoring or making money. Certainly RP principles can work in relationships, although things like negging and being a jerk likely lose their effectiveness over time. Girls might, but women have different criteria. So do most girls actually. They're not immune to hot bodies and faces, but it's much lower on their scale than ours. Take a look at the quantity of porn created for men vs. women. Or even glamour shots. Women crave not only leadership and confidence, but a guy who can teach them things. A 70-year-old friend gave me some great advice once. He said, "Remember, any guy can fuck their bodies. You've got to fuck their minds."

I'd like girls to want me for my intellect and confidence, as well as my respectable schlong. Do I have to pick one? Play the cards life deals you.

Alpha attitude + some brains = financial success. It may take some time to build your $MV, but it's a fun road.

Poor Eddie. This POS nearly ruined his career. Back then I thought it was because the song sucked. Now it's clear that any who listened ... lost respect.

Jagger's a tad RP. He has seven kids with four women. After being married to Jerry Hall for 9 years, when she tried to divorce him and his money, he had his marriage annulled on the grounds the Indonesian ceremony didn't count. His last girlfriend left him $9 million when she commit suicide. Sir Mick.

If it's biology, then they can't spend hundreds of millions to "fix" the problem, a la Google spending $40 million dollars to encourage more vagina possessing computer programmers. If you can convince enough that society is victimizing a class, there is much money to be made and votes to be had by helping them. Think diversity consultants, affirmative action recipients, "it's time for the first _______ _______" (black president, female astronaut, gay general), and many many politicians. If you s…

THANK YOU for this. So many guys seem to only see half of the relationship equation. I bring stuff to my girl, she brings stuff to me. I'm in a borderline D/s relationship with a wonderful girl who appreciates the fuck out of my qualities and treats me like a demi god. When a gal offers a sincere "thank you" for being allowed to suck your cock, that's a good day and relationship. But I have my roles as well and I don't just offer my natural cockiness and medium looks. I bring a calmness, maturit…

I know this sounds trite, but do you best in your 20s to work at what you love. If you get to the point where you'd do your job even if there was no such thing as "money," you'll never "work" another day in your life. You'll jump into the day and much more easily become great at what you do. With not too much luck, you'll earn a health living as well. Through my profession, I make new friends, develop good relationships and sometimes sleep with girls. I'd rather work than sit on a beach. To me, …

I dig this sub, but it has it's silly elements. First, there's a decent amount of misogyny here. For a bunch of aspiring alphas, some woman getting an overly generous divorce settlement gets lots of panties in a twist here. And the whole "game" aspect pretty much treats women as walking vaginas, so I can understand why some chafe at that so to speak. That said, there's a lot good here. Teaching men to ball up about life is a good thing.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
