I was single and alone after my divorce for probably three years, now I have a wonderful girlfriend who completely understands me and my schedule with my kids and I cannot be happier. definitely work on yourself, hit the gym and overall just be happy and start moving forward and you will find it. It’s not easy you will have to Work for it, but I did dating apps, had a lot of misses but eventually you’ll find something that works for you. Go…

With no kids this is the perfect time to get out. Nice and clean and you can move on.

So I’m currently going through this exactly. I miss my ex but I miss the idea of having some one to talk to, tell about my day to and just overall be company with. I feel like I miss her then when we spend time together because of the kids or whatever I’m like yeah no. Now I remember why we separated. So I miss the idea of a partner but not specifically her

Just started the divorce process and while I agree we are not compatible anymore I feel like I miss my old life and would be willing to be unhappy for the sake of having the “family “back together and doing all the activities we did before. The future is unknown, so I feel nervous and currently would be willing to go back to the unhappiness so I could have the sure thing again with her and the kids.

Just grew apart, we’re more like roommates than a married couple. Started getting annoyed with each other over little things, she stopped with all physical contact ( I have a headache, n…

Sorry man, I feel for ya. Getting divorced too due to covid but not like your circumstances. Work on yourself, abs be the best dad you can for the kids. Don’t let her or your shitty ex friend get you down.

We are using a mediator and it’s about 4K. Our lawyer that’s doing the mediation said if we went to court the Lawyers would coust us like 50 to 80K over the course of 3 years. He said for our sake, our bank accounts abs our kids use a mediator. Nobody wins the other way.

What everyone else said. Don’t move out it, it’s abandonment. Sleep in the garage if you have to. Stay for the kids and try to be civil. Currently still living in the same house as we go through the process and we have been very civil with each other. Makes me hope the process goes smoothly.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
