I don't think I worded it well. I meant that in retrospect, I could see the creepiness more clearly, like being able to dissect the interaction. During the interaction, I just "felt" uncomfortable.

Here is my input. I've never taken anyone's bootcamp so take it with a grain of salt, but think it from the outside of the pick up framework. I think it starts with the whole "Don't talk to strangers" that we are conditioned with as we grow up. I understand that yes, dangers do exist but instead of teaching separation and fear, we should encourage interconnectedness and thriving human interaction to the children.

In my state of clarity, I have decided scrap my previous posting and rewrite my response. For every behavior, especially a habitual one, there is ALWAYS a reason associated with your beliefs and definitions/interpretations. Now, in your type of situation, people will often give you physical-action based recommendations. However, that's barely scratching the surface of the real issue. Unless you dive deep within yourself, and deal with whatever mental or emotional issue that's causing the trouble…
