1	I HATE modern feminism Well since the definition of “feminism” is TECHNICALLY advocating woman’s rights in order to achieve equal rights, I just mostly assumed that it started that way. 9	I HATE modern feminism I’m a female but I am SO WITH YOU ON THIS. It has honestly become so corrupted, aggressive and so DAMN annoying. This is a shameless rewriting of history The “Me too” movement has now become so corrupted and non-credible just like “feminism”. Although it’s original purpose of getting people to speak out was encouraging, it has transitioned for the worst. People have taken advantage of the movement by making false accusations to be seen as victims and spread hate. It really has become EXTREMELY aggressive, which is why I try to call it out when I see it. I don’t think you realize that the “hate” towards feminism is because modern feminism has stirred away from its original purpose with the people who’ve taken things to an extreme. Of course, not everyone does this but we mostly see these extremists and the people who spread hate and blame on the opposite gender. But shouldn’t it be about equal rights and equal importance? I’m a female and I believe that it should be. Both genders suffer. 1	Food for thought. My friend who is the girl’s roommate told me about the cheating. So I asked her why she hadn’t told the bf what was up especially since she knew him well. 1	17 year old boy commits suicide after rape accusation. Her response: If he couldn't the handle the pressure, it's not her fault. I read this else where and it’s honestly terrible. I get that the Me Too movement was made to help people speak out which is VERY important. But some have taken it to an extreme, just like everything else. People make false accusations and use the movement to their advantage whether it’s for attention or what not.
