When you are around women and can sense that they are paying attention to you in some way, ask yourself if in that situation there's something else you'd rather be doing than paying attention to her\them paying attention to you. If there is then think about that, or go do it. Aloofness is seeing focus on you and maintaining personal outlook, thus effectively ignoring the attention without being antisocial about it

I had something like that happen. An ex of mine started stripping behind my back and suddenly was all about "taking care of me"

That's pushy, translated: clingy for any girl. Id say don't do that

Sounds like this woman has self-induced Stockholm syndrome and low self esteem which you're perpetuating with your behavior. You're not RP, you're a smug BP'er that landed a broken and most likely psychologically incomplete (albeit according to you hot and successful) wife. You shouldn't be proud of your accomplishments, as you have none. You should actually be ashamed that you're pawning off another human beings weakness as your own appeal and worth.

The reason is stated. There's one reason. One. Reason. It's stated in the post. Let me repeat, one reason. Stop grasping at straws, your argument is weak.

She ended it because she wanted to see what other options are out there. In what world do you exist in where that's something one can do without sleeping with someone new? Do you really think that after dating for many months, she just randomly came up with this thought and just as quickly reasoned that it's not what she really wanted?! Seriously use your brain

One guy is enough. I know women well enough to know that they don't end an ltr without having options ready.

Man don't listen to that "guy" what "he" posted is catering to your ego and insecurities. The reality is, your girl already had someone lined up. Awalt. Dump her and find a girl who DOES NOT WANT TO FUCK OTHER PEOPLE. I mean seriously, you're getting taken for a ride here and the worst thing is that in the back of your mind, you know it.

Adapt? Like ignore it until the feminists stop bitching and start working? Sounds like a plan

For all the flak I see thrown at rp's for being misogynistic, the complete lack of empathy from "progressive non-rp" side is astounding

Thanks for that. Not sarcasm

TRP is about not being that guy. It's the entire point of TRP philosophy. At least in my view. Where's the woman's sub about not being that way? There isn't one, hence the joke being relevant

I think the issue you're all missing is that when men play the risk cars, they don't blame anyone but themselves. However it's rare, if not impossible, to find a woman that's been riding the carousel and hits a wall - that accepts the responsibility for her resulting state. It's always: "why are there no good men out there? I'm such a great catch!" cue bewildered hamstering

My advice is to: 1) work out right. If you're not getting bigger, you're either working out wrong or not eating right. These are things to be learned, you proved you're smart now go and learn how to do them right. 2) go to goodlookingloser.com and follow the anxiety management/desensitization therapy he has on there, it's a good start 3) stop using your brain. Start using your eyes, and observe what's happening around you in terms of women and how they're talked to/who they talk to. It sounds li…

He means that there is established history that will come up inadvertently when the ex starts to want more (again). Unless our friend has mega self-restraint and frame, he will be unable to keep from being sucked in- as she will have far more personal ammo to use based on history + guilt tactics. Unlike new girls who don't know him as well

Saw a good motivational quote about that today, it said "a year from now you'll wish you had started today" I think that one's gonna stick for a while, until I turn lifting into a habit

Sounds like you want to be valued over being considered a friend. Friends value what's there, and drive each other to becoming more of something; what you seem to be doing is seeking power-partnerships which is never as fulfilling. I also have the same problem, so just read this as my personal lesson/viewpoint insofar.. I may be off
