Sorry for responding so late, but it was a very volatile relationship. At one point, there was some arguable domestic violence on her end (she ended up getting arrested because someone called the cops. Holding cell and everything. 🤣🤣🤣), but it was also sorta just an escalated situation. She was very manipulative and really liked toxic attention from me. She would dress beyond provocatively (I was totally fine with showing skin, but I won’t even go into how trashy she dressed) and it made me feel…

Alright you need help bro that’s actually psychopathic jesus christ. Have some empathy. That’s incredibly manipulative. How could you want to have sex with someone that feels like they’re forced to or you’ll cheat on them?? Disgusting behavior.

Sorta? I have some feeling somewhere that my most recent ex and I will find our way back to each other. My mom and her boyfriend dated back in high school, and were together a few times, and now they’ve been back together post divorce (with different people) for a long time now. A lot of people told me that my ex and I reminded them of my mom and her bf. They were very volatile back in the day in the same way my ex and I were. Everyone also told me that they thought it wasn’t the end for us (we …

I’m talking about in the current moment. I’m just too busy to talk to women. I work too much + I’m in school + I try to see my friends.

I understand that. What I mean is not pushing harder if you get rejected. Walking away if she’s not feeling it.

I said sex is hugely important so I don’t do hookup, but I understand how you read it that way. I meant it as having a lot deeper of a meaning to me.

I sorta understand what you mean by this, but all I mean is that you approach with total respect, and if she seems creeped out, walk away.

Sometimes you just gotta go for it. Worst that can happen in actuality is you get shut down unless it’s one of those self absorbed gym freaks (and that will only really happen in the gym). The more you get shut down, the easier it gets and you stop fearing rejection, which actually boosts your confidence.

This is something I can completely understand. Some places you just don’t approach at, which I was going to include, but I didn’t. If there’s a cute woman at the grocery store, just call her pretty in a totally respectful manner. Don’t offer your phone number right away, because if she’s not digging it, you can just have her take the compliment. Women at your age are also typically mature enough to not do the attention seeking tiktok bullshit.

You’re 4’4?? I can’t even imagine how difficult that must be. And yes. I was able to get girls super easily in high school as well, but I didn’t know that I could until one time I took acid junior year (long, but very funny story), then after that it was pretty simple. I don’t look like brad pitt and I’m not shredded either. I mean I’m definitely not ugly but I’m not a god by any means. I did win class clown in 8th grade and senior year, so that for sure helps lol. Edit: just checked your profil…

I have talked to multiple attractive women that I just approached on the street (5’4 male and not loaded btw, so not what you would expect), but I just end up not talking to them eventually because I’m too busy to talk to women and sex is a hugely important thing for me, so I don’t do hookups.

That’s what I said. Communication is key. Glad you have stated it, but I just hope it wasn’t said in that way because that comes across as very threatening (at least in my opinion).

Monogamy is typically the standard, so unless it’s stated otherwise, people are entitled to monogamy. If you make it clear you don’t want to stay monogamous to her, then she isn’t entitled to monogamy. Hopefully you’re referring to the latter.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/08/23 01:02 AM

That’s a difficult discussion to have because of all the legal implications and ethics to it, but I personally believe in the sanctity of marriage and don’t like that people marry for legal benefits. Just how the world works though (at least in the US, but I’m not sure with other countries).
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/23 10:12 AM

Trust me, I definitely agree with the fact that leaving a bf is way less than leaving a wife, but a some people may just get married for the legal benefits and don’t view marriage as changing anything.

Jesus fucking christ someone that has the actual answer. It’s not rocket science. Girls really only “like assholes” when they’re younger, because they have more of an edge. If something is easily accessible, there isn’t as much of a want. SIMPLE. AS. THAT.

Alright you need to touch grass cuz it’s not like that bro 💀 you’re online way too much. This is about the invasion of male spaces, like how boy scouts isn’t just for boys anymore.

You don’t understand what I mean by boring lol. Boring in conversation isn’t what I’m referring to. I’m talking about excitement. If something is a handout, it’s not as special. Now, playing excessive games is stupid, but being way too easy to get isn’t attractive to anyone. Being clear about intentions is great, but responding instantly AT ALL TIMES is a huge turn off for for almost everyone that has their own, busy life. I don’t think playing games is mature, so you shouldn’t be intentionally …

Most women only prefer douchebags in high school. Nice guys are still boring though. If you don’t have any mystery and your only personality trait is that you’re nice (which is a facade most of the time, because they just want to get in the girl’s pants and they blow up when they get rejected) don’t be surprised when she doesn’t want you. Girls only like douchebags because they don’t throw themselves at them. There’s no difficulty with getting the nice guy, and that’s why they don’t want them. S…

I used to live with only women (my mom and my two younger sisters), so I understand women pretty well. They have a good head on their shoulders, so none of them are irrationally scared, but they are rationally cautious. Just always understand that you shouldn’t take offense to a woman being wary, because taking offense to it can often make her feel like she was right. Personally, I’m wary of women. My last relationship fucked me up a lot, but I’m learning to trust women again. I’m still going to…

And you’re spewing pure angst and jealousy. Let people add to the discourse if they want to.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/23 09:15 PM

Holy fucking angry dude. You just sound so bitter that other people are in happy marriages. I personally would happily take dating advice from someone married for 20 years and use my BRAIN to make it relate to more new school dating. You posted a question, but you aren’t accepting the answers.

Your whole post history is about how you can’t approach women and you wonder why 💀 men and women both have toxic traits, but they both have beautiful traits.

Everyone has different types dude. From your comments, you sound super bitter lol. You may be going after the wrong guys, you may have a shitty personality, or it could be a mixture of the two. If it’s everyone else’s fault in your eyes, then the blame is truly on you in one way or another.

One of the best takes I’ve seen here in a long time. Doesn’t aim to blame women, just aims to say that we need to lay off of looking down at men for not being active in the dating/sex world. A thing you never mentioned is online dating. If you take a woman and a man that are around the same level of attractiveness, the woman will get 100x more matches than a guy will, so obviously she’s gonna pick the best looking one. You can’t truly describe yourself on your profile, nor can you show off the d…

To me, it’s acknowledging there’s issues men and women experience, and things I don’t particularly care about, I either take a more centrist opinion or I abstain from an opinion. Extremism is a huge plague to our society. I also think it’s horrible to, “believe all women,” but I also think it’s equally as bad to think, “all women are liars.” Believing without proof is braindead, and we aren’t the court of law, so it shouldn’t be innocent until proven guilty in terms of belief. I wait for evidenc…

Yeah I moreso was referring to the delusion. The red pill guys saying they deserve a 10 that cooks and clean for them when all they don’t have much to offer and the tiktok obsessed astrology girls that think they deserve a man that makes $300k, works regular hours so she has time to spend with him, is 6’4, ripped, with the face of a god, despite being 200 lbs and absolutely horrible to be around.

That’s what I said in the post. Settling in terms of some things that don’t matter because those are preferences, but keeping your values as standards.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/23 07:30 PM
4

100% agree. That’s why preferences should just be preferences, not standards. You put a huge amount of truth there!
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/23 01:49 PM
2

100% you shouldn’t settle for things that won’t make you happy, but I said that there’s things you can hold onto, and values should stay as standards for anyone. Don’t be afraid to leave either. Definitely try to work it out with healthy boundaries, but work it out for sure.

Dudw this really is girls that you see on social media, but there is a sentiment spread for both genders. Settling vs compromising is just arguing semantics because you clearly can understand what I meant. I definitely can agree that this sentiment is way more popular with women, but the red pill community does often make NEETs think they deserve a 10 that cooks and cleans for them.

It’s really funny too because what they think “chads” are practically unicorns in daily life
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/23 12:04 PM

Okay then I guess it’s just a difference in choice of words. I see settling as “do you want to get mexican food?” “Nah I’m more in the mood for chinese” “okay sounds good to me!”

Get to work NOW
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/23 11:25 AM

Oh yeah that’s exactly what I mean. I just see a sentiment spread a lot of “DO NOT SETTLE ON ANYTHING” and it’s super toxic.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/23 11:07 AM
6

Oh I completely agree. I don’t think that vast majority of people think this way in real life, but they do often think that way on dating apps because they turn real people into simple profiles, and that’s why I think they’re poison. The caricatures we have of men and women plastered online is from numbers found from studies based on dating apps WHICH IS NOT REAL LIFE. They’re half of the reason for the battle of the sexes today.

I think it’s because, with guys, we can start with the switch off, but once it’s on, it can’t be turned off usually. I can if it’s just a small, passing crush that’s clearly just a displacement, but I need to go no contact for a long time if I really am into a girl I was friends with. It’s the same reason I think it’s unhealthy to be friends with an ex majority of the time. If it fizzled out and you both mutually agree you guys are better off as friends, then that’s fine, but one person having l…

I really don’t understand it at all. I’m 5’4 and have had my fair share of very attractive women. I’m above average in the face, but it’s easily my personality and wit that gets me women, as well as the fact that I don’t see them as objects. If you’re not an 8+ and you can’t be purely platonic friends with women, you will not get women.

Dude I think you need to go outside and talk to real people instead of listening to the loud minority you see online lmfao
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/23 08:03 AM

It’s not all men and not all women. If you think it’s wrong to assume that all men are bad, then why do you go around and say all women are bad lol. That’s why women say all men are bad. Spread peace and love and good women come a LOT easier my friend.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/23 07:03 AM

So you think it’s totally okay when women assume all men are horrible assholes cuz of what they see online right cuz two points make a line
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/23 06:39 AM

Jesus christ take a step outside dude not even close to all women are like that lmfao and I’m a guy that isn’t a feminist. It’s a loud minority that you only really see on the internet.

Look, I think that’s trashy, but I also think it’s trashy when men do it too. Both create bad lifestyles and will impact future relationships.

Personally, I see it as an inability to have self control. I have a body count of two, not because I struggle with women whatsoever, but I really just think someone that would rather hookup with people constantly to have practice to be good in bed is far less valuable in a relationship than someone that has been in long, stable relationships to have that practice of having a strong bond. Sure, a few hookups is fine, but someone with a body count of 30 with one relationship that lasted a year and…

What I was referring to was, if you take a man and a woman, both equally attractive, both as well off as each other, the woman will have more day to day struggles, such as sexual harassment. Does that make sense? Just an opinion
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/22 03:21 AM

Something I realized is that, in my opinion, women go through more day to day hardships and minor consequences, but men face more double standards and much worse larger consequences (for example prison sentencing). I would choose to be a man over a woman 10 out 10 times, however, being a man doesn’t come without its setbacks. In terms of this specific double standard, the best thing you can do is to just not state what your preferences are. It may make you angry that there’s a double standard, b…

He said nothing wrong w her waiting… he was talking about how he feels unattractive to his girlfriend because of how she was in the past and treats him entirely different… I completely think she, and everyone else, has the right to do whatever they want to their body. However, this doesn’t mean he doesn’t have any reason to feel that way. His feelings are super valid. Jesus Christ.

Again, as I said, men are disgusting. As a man, I wholeheartedly believe that. However, you clearly don’t understand the concept of cancel culture, and how if word goes around that someone is a rapist, and, it’s not even just not proven true, it’s proven false, everyone will still see the guy that way. And that statistic is so unreliable, because some sources say it’s 7%, some say it’s 10%, some say it’s 0.5%, and it’s not taking social level accusations, only legal ones. You are so off and clos…

You really must be ignorant to the fact that there are unreasonable people. Just as there are disgusting men who pressure and don’t accept no, there are also many disgusting women who report things unnecessarily, and they will always be believed over a man. 100% I think it’s more common for guys to be disgusting, but you’re clearly ignorant to the fact that men even have fear with hitting on women in bars, a place where hitting on people is very, very commonplace.

Again, it’s become a common thing for women to go on dates for free meals. And as I said, I do believe that men should pay for dates, but not initially, so that free meals bs doesn’t happen.
