This was my first year doing taxes as single following my divorce. Comparing 2016 to 2015, my effective tax rate went up by 1% after all deductions. So, not really much of a tax break at all IMO.

Only thing worse than a woman causing you to go against your wishes is when she is emboldened by a pack of her friends who want the same thing. You stated clearly that you'd never marry. Time to resurface that statement with her, and give her the option: she backs down from the engagement demands, or time to end things.

There's plenty wrong with being religious. While it's true that some religions have become more moderate than others, they are all at their core guilty of asserting things as truth based on no real evidence. The ultimate red pill is taking a critical look at all religion and realizing it's all bullshit, meant to make you subservient, take your money, and have you indoctrinate everyone you know for the same purposes.
