2	Thor submits like a beta boy. Disappointing. They never discussed why is the hammer special. Maybe it's just a play by thor's father. Because Odin controls who can use the hammer. In Thor 1 he cast out Thor and took the hammer away. So you can argue that Odin has the controller. :D It's a weapon. It can control weather and can force lightning strikes. Thor is strong. They are regular aliens with hi-tech stuff which looks like magic for earth people. Even Thor clarify that they don't have magic it's just tech which is more advanced than anything on earth.
