Just say you like men and move on.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/25 11:15 AM

This was either written by an adult incel or a minor with no relationship experience.

People here have limited relationship experience and make bold offensive claims as if they're facts. I shudder to think what kind of partners they'd be.

I think a notable amount of them are incels masquerading as women.
/r/ExRedPill23/12/24 02:18 PM

I just hate the framing of a woman dedicating the rest of her life to you as a loss because she's 29 instead of 24. You're literally getting more of her physically and emotionally than anyone ever will and it's being framed negatively because of some weird incel notion that the height of her worth as a person was the sex she may or may not have been having before you met her. Having a beautiful wife who wants to spend the rest of her life with you is winning the game. If you're such a chronic se…

I'm in the entertainment industry. I work closely with actors/models and people either treat them like pretty pieces of meat to be used for personal gain/gratification or actively seek to harm them just to see someone attractive suffer because their jealous. They start to put a lot of their self worth in their appearance and can actively hate themselves while simultaneously thinking they're physically perfect.

I'm gonna honest OP. I've read your post and most of the men's responses to your post and I genuinely don't think they understand what you are saying. I have parents who are both still living. My mother has 2 masters and worked in software testing full time. My father had 2 masters and worked in computer science, then school admissions full time. Both very intelligent hardworking people with full time schedules. Only one parent knew when my birthday was coming, when my doctor's appointments were…

Yes. To me being "unassertive" is a mixture of lack of confidence and indecisiveness. You want someone who knows what they want and has a plan to make it happen.

I haven't really said it to anyone in person. But I have always felt they're not the most* important although they do play a part in initial attraction.

You can be overweight and still take care of yourself. Bodies come in different shapes and sizes. I didn't mean specifically all women being thin. That's unrealistic.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/23 04:27 PM

I'm not talking about weight. I'm talking about making yourself presentable.

It’s not women’s fault that so many men don’t know how to dress, won’t go to the gym, won’t groom themselves etc. Women constantly wear make-up, flattering clothes, get their hair done, lashes done etc. How many men even bother with any amount of effort though? A lot of dudes have a 5 minute shower and call it a day This has been my experience. Men who put little to no effort in their appearance can't fathom why women are not lining up for them while at the same time are only attracted to women …
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/23 03:45 PM

Then you shouldn't expect to get swiped right on an app where presentation is half the battle.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/23 02:54 PM

There's nothing vain about taking a decent photo and presenting yourself well.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/23 02:52 PM

It doesn't have to be professional. Just some good lighting and like brush your hair.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/23 02:50 PM

Trying out okc for the first time. Some of y'all are terrible at taking photos.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/23 02:46 PM

it implies a person's worth isn't notable and they have to convince you of it which can be seen as insulting or demeaning.

Maybe like once a week. It really depends on where I am and how I'm presenting myself.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/23 06:14 PM

Stay on topic champ.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/23 05:44 PM

Women absolutely talk about what attracts them. Confident is not a vague word. If every descriptor a woman says translates to height for you that's a you problem.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/23 05:30 PM

The guys on this sub seem more obsessed with height than any woman I know.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/23 05:23 PM

Open relationships are one thing but a woman wanting you to fuck her friends seems false.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/23 04:34 PM

"My gf allowed me to hook-up with her friends and knew l had sexual feelings for other girls but since l was charismatic/confident about it she had no problem "

Maybe in movies. But in real life having someone threaten to kill themselves if you leave is abuse.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/23 01:40 PM

Absolutely not. That puts too much pressure on you to make sure everything is perfect so they don't go off the rails.

The pressure to have children is still there. I think why women are having them later and less is because they have to rely on themselves financially whereas before they did not.

Previously this model of living was the standard. Being a married stay at home mom does not have the benefits of self preservation should your husband decide to leave/cheat. You are completely at the mercy of someone else, which is why this dynamic is less prevalent nowadays and the societal expectation for women has shifted from being at someone else's mercy to self sufficiency and advancement all the while not lessening any expectations of her parental or home duties. Perhaps women wouldn't be…
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/23 06:44 PM

I just see a lot of men giving advice here and trying to offer insights into the female psyche so I genuinely wonder how many of these men actually have intimate healthy relationships with women.

If a man approached me and without saying anything else told me I was hot and asked for my number it would be a flat no. A guy approached me at a bar about 2 weeks ago and we talked for about an hour about a host of things before he asked for my number. That is how you approach a woman, not by stating you're sexually attracted to her.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/23 06:39 PM

I got cold approached at a bar not too long that resulted in a really nice conversation and 2 dates. I think you just have to know how to talk to people and not be weird.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/23 06:34 PM

I think it's a pretty exclusionary preference. But to each their own. I personally don't care.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/23 06:27 PM

I've dated in my social circle. At this point it's not really my preference because I like to keep things separate but if I met someone within my social circle that I thought was worth pursuing I wouldn't rule it out.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/23 06:25 PM

Just say you hate women and move on.

I mean whatever floats your boat. No one can force you to use the right soap.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/23 06:21 PM

No, LMS are not static and can change. Subscribing to this theory would make dating someone you actually like impossible.

Maybe there is? The guy I'm currently talking to makes music but I wouldn't consider him nerdy. But I'm sure there is overlap.

Are you speaking from experience?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/23 02:25 PM

By artsy I mean guys who make art. It could be graphic design, painting/drawing, or music whether it's as a profession or hobby. They don't have to be starving and misunderstood lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/23 02:16 PM

I like artsy guys but tend to have more luck with nerdy guys. I don't really know what the disconnect is but I'm not too pressed about it.

Size doesn't matter that much. If I like a guy whatever he's got is fine.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/23 06:34 PM

I don't think women are necessarily under the impression you'd be a demanding partner. Effort is in no way off-putting. I honestly think you just need to keep trying and socializing and don't compare yourself to other men whether you think you're better or worse.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/23 12:16 PM
24

A lot of people who are having good sex and have healthy sex lives employ the use of sex toys so I don't really know what you're getting at.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/23 01:19 AM
7

Well I personally have different views than you when it comes to sexual experience. I stand by my statement and think that obsession with bodycount is unhealthy and misguided. I do however understand that your lack of experience as well as the value place in sex makes you want someone of a similar background and I hope you find what you're looking for but can do so in a way that doesn't place undue burden on an entire gender.
/r/ExRedPill07/05/23 11:52 PM

No one is attacking you dude. May I ask why you're also looking for someone who is inexperienced as opposed to someone you just connect with?
/r/ExRedPill07/05/23 11:26 PM

I met a guy at a bar just the other night. We talked for almost an hour. Are you sure these aren't personal problems you're projecting onto the entire dating world?

I will die on this hill.
/r/ExRedPill07/05/23 07:18 PM

Enjoying sex isn't just for men. They don't get to decide that it makes an entire gender worthless. Your worth as a person has nothing to do with sex.
/r/ExRedPill07/05/23 07:15 PM
14

If you're a virgin man looking for a virgin woman because you don't believe in sex before marriage personally*, that is different than stating or believing all women derive value based on their sexual partners.
/r/ExRedPill07/05/23 07:13 PM
19

You're absolutely right. It's hypocritical and misogynistic. It denies women the ability to experience sexual pleasure on their own terms and puts a woman's value in her sex life. Any man who cares about body count is worried about the wrong attributes imo and not mature enough to have a good relationship with a woman.
/r/ExRedPill07/05/23 06:43 PM

Well men should not get dating advice from Hollywood. It is, as you said, a fantasy.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/23 06:07 PM

I've always felt that if the friend zone is real and you're in it, it's because you've placed yourself there. You had the option to leave when she said she wasn't interested.

Do men feel the same instant sexual connection with every woman they date? I don't think so. I also don't think women are sitting around comparing themselves to a man's previous partners after a single date.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/23 08:39 PM
6

There's a difference between opening up and trauma dumping. The problem is not knowing the difference. Having a respectful conversation with your partner about your emotions or insecurities is different than bottling everything up and then just releasing the floodgates.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/23 06:37 PM
1

Their preference doesn't necessarily match reality. Instant sexual connection happens sometimes but not all the time. And any expectation that a woman who has experienced instant sexual connection before should experience it with you is entitlement. Sometimes it takes time. A woman wanting to wait does not mean she is not sexually attracted to you and her previous sexual interactions have nothing to do with how your sexual interaction with her may progress. As I said before different men invoke …
