where did you get that out of my argument. I'm pro choice. I dont think anyone c an tell a woman she needs to get an abortion or that she cant get an abortion. But i also think that its wrong for a woman to make up her mind without consulting the other party involved

I understand your point but i don't think its technically a medical procedure. And the father i'm pretty sure can request a court ordered test. Which if it's court ordered then she can't deny it. Not a law major so i could be wrong.

So if a man knowingly has sex without a condom, and knowing the woman isn't on any form of birth control, then he doesn't make a decision to get a woman pregnant? He is just as morally responsible

? seriously? my comment was more directed at the fact that his comment mad the assumption that any mother asking for child support was a lazy sit on their ass person who did nothing, and at calling the children spawn. I believe both parents need to work to support their children.

so my children should not have a father? Or i should keep my children from their father? Isn't this the same subreddit that would flip if i refused to let the father of my children see his kids? you don't get it both ways, you can see and help take care of/provide for your kids or you can have nothing to do with them. I provide primary care for the kids, when i go to work they go to a baby sitter, the majority of the children's expenses come from my pay check aside from a bit of supplementary in…

So why is it that the burden of geting pregnant should only fall on the mother of the child? The father also had unprotected sex at the exact same time. If he wasn't raped/drugged/ otherwise inebriated he has just as much responsibility to his children as the mom does. Let me explain my situation to you. Apartments cost $700 for a one bedroom which legally i cant live in with my children and $800-$900 for a two bedroom, As far as the courts are concerned the father of my children should be payin…

ok i'm really not trying to be sarcastic ect here but i've never heard of a mother being able to deny a paternity test. i used to administer paternity tests and i've had to talk to social services about my kids getting one. From what i've gathered, the father can come in and sign the birth certificate and if not they then request a court ordered paternity test. Not really room for the mother to deny it. At least in my experience. It pretty much goes "sign the paper, if not get your cheek swabbed…

Its comments like this that irritate me, I work two jobs to support my children, those two jobs still dont pay rent plus money for diapers ect asking for child support does not mean that a women isnt taking care of her kids, just asking for help providing for their children

REally guys, he needs to get a paternity test asap, because lets be honest. not all women are honest. that being sad, DMX is and has been a rapper for a while, he can more than afford to either pay for a dna test ($500) or the 1 million dollars. Not all women are honest with their claims for child support but not all men are forthcoming in providing for their children

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
