It does not help that there is also a lot of money to be made telling men they aren't good enough for beautiful women. Unless of course they buy this deodorant/hair product/car/watch/boat/motorcycle/fucking grill. You can use sex to sell anything.

I think show them you can do both, that you're a cool multifaceted man who just so happens to have a savage streak. Don't ever forget that while social mechanics do cause a lot of women to act similar in public settings, every woman is different, and is attracted to different things. It will become more apparent to you what those things are the more you interact with them and the less they feel they have an audience.

Valid points. That's also connected to the often-overlooked side of living in a society so ruled by sexist ideology: men don't always want sex. Sometimes, we just don't want it, and the presumption that we always do has terrible consequences, especially when internalized.

So militant Twitter feminism is not only unsound but problematic for society; why sink to that level on the other side of things by validating it in an inverse sense? Can you see how lampooning the idea of "reliving the trauma" as a guise is just as offensive and unsound, and adds fuel to their fire? Additionally, what claim do you have as an unqualified citizen to demand proof when the bodies already in place for handling this kind of thing have made the call? Do you have evidence to the contra…

The danger lies in coming to think of assault allegations first as often frivolous and false and then considering whether they might be true. People don't typically file claims for fun, they do it because they feel threatened. There's absolutely a link between being creepy and having a woman feel threatened by that behavior, wouldn't you say?

You're spot on. Idk why you've been downvoted, "creepiness" is about behavior, not genes.

Nice explanation! I just want to respond to something in your "legit creepiness" section: you mention that corporate workplaces are sites of politicized allegations of sexual assault. It's important to remember that workplace sexism is a thing, and so is workplace harassment. When we generalize that allegations of assault are being weaponized by women with impure intentions, we add to the many dangers women (and men) face in coming forward with allegations for legitimate reasons, which is alread…

Neediness, in the terms described above, caught me off guard because I feel like usually caring about what other people think is what's construed as neediness. It seems that Manson is taking the concept one step deeper by saying that your need to attend to your own perceptions of things over recognizing others' perceptions is neediness. For example, wanting to feel valuable puts your perception of feeling valued over the other people's perception of you being valuable to them. Attending to other…

Yeah seems like she's not that into you and you aren't that into her. Let it be and move on Id say. It's tough when it seems like it could work but it doesn't but you're better off just finding a new thing thats more engaging for both of you

I feel like there isn't enough details in your post to help you. Perhaps you can find a more specific problem and explain it more thoroughly, rather than summarizing the whole thing?

How do you feel about "soft game," let's call it? You're not whipping out the cube or demonstrating value with some weird trick or something, but like some good natured cocky-funny? Or like teasing or negging whatever you want to call it that isn't denigrating? I draw the line with "game" when it's disrespectful or hurtful to someone in a substantial way, but I'm curious where you found that line in your journey I guess

When there is a group, maybe even some guys in the group, it is real hard to approach because of the possibility of being judged. I could just tell you "oh don''t worry about being judged it doesn't matter" but that's not helpful, we all know how hard it is to just snap out of caring what others think. Rather, when you make an approach, approach the group first. Use an indirect opener, so they don't think right off the bat, oh, this weirdo is trying to seduce someone here. That shit won't work. …

You did imply it, though. You said "the argument is that it's racist to find physical features of another race unattractive." You literally said that there are certain physical features that are a certain race's. You didn't mean to say, "find physical features of a PERSON of another race unattractive," did you? That would make a little more sense in context.

First, I think it reflects privilege because it shows a disregard for the importance of the point that he was rejected because of his race, whether that racial rejection is part of a sexual preference or not. Its privileged to think it's acceptable to tell someone they shouldn't be offended by racial rejection. Second, there are no features that are present always for a certain race because race is socially constructed. Some black people will have big noses. Others will have small noses. White p…

One thing: self deprecating humor can be good because it illustrates how confident you are in yourself that you're able to make fun of yourself. If you take yourself too seriously you look insecure.

I'm saying that it doesn't pay to be presuming that the reason she wasn't attracted to him was because his skin is black, not because HE is black. In one case, you have a rude girl who wasted no time telling OP that she didn't care for a feature of his, in another you have a girl who didn't even give OP a chance because of a bias that black people are unattractive. We don't know which was the case in reality, but we do know that OP was denied because of something he can't control that has some s…

But you can prejudge an openly displayed feature on the basis of it being a feature closely associated with a certain race. Its the difference between the chick not being at all attracted to OP because of a certain facial feature, let's say nose, and her being closed to the idea of any attraction to him because she thinks black people have bad features and are ugly. Your definition of racism being acting prejudiced to someone on the basis of their race is correct, but I disagree with your conclu…

So that means that what happened to this guy isn't as bad for him as say, job discrimination, but is still racial discrimination? I don't see why we can't all just say, "I'm really sorry that that happened to you. That is unfair."
/r/seduction29/05/17 01:39 AM

That is NOT the reason you see people of the same race together. You see minority groups of people hanging out together because it sucks to feel like the only person who is black or Asian and it makes people feel comfortable to be around people similar to themselves. Groups of a race hanging out together has nothing to do with DNA and everything to do with the social conditioning of people.

"That said, I think as long as the rejection is tactful, there is no reason to be offended at someone not being sexually attracted to the features of your race." That's an incredibly privileged thing to say, and I encourage you to please take a moment to really consider the essence of your point. You're saying that as long as someone isn't outwardly rude, it's unreasonable to be offended by their rejection of you based on your race. I'm no SJW but it feels fucked up to be telling someone what is…

True, but this guy had to deal with one of the most psychologically upsetting things, rejection, on the basis of something he can't even control. Like he said, it would be one thing if he got shut down for something he said or did. This is another level of pain for him, I imagine. Just saying it's not a very helpful thing to just say "welcome to the real world." I'm pretty sure he's already painfully aware that that occurs in the real world.

Listen to yourself. Read this out loud. "I was planning on acting like the person id like to be perceived to be" You need to get over yourself. Be your real genuine self, and also be assertive; its how you are true to that self. In answer to your question, you change your rep by doing different shit. Start being direct w your intentions. Dont "act" like anything. Just be. Try shit because it feels right, and keep wjat you like. And your last question really really pisses me off. There's no "fast…

Go on a journey. Either an actual journey type thing (backpacking, sailing, traveling) or a journey in your life, like volunteering time at a food bank (they REALLY need it) or joining a church or becoming a soldier or going to college. You get the point? I may be wrong here but it sounds like you dont know your self that well. Doing activities like the ones here will give you confidence, through the experience itself and the self knowledge you get. Basically, you are a very physically adept and…

haha thats a pretty normal thought. Your brain has conjured it up subconsciously to defend you from possibly getting socially embarrassed. But your subconscious doesn't call the shots. Unless you really fuck up, they wont think you're weird. In fact, if they try to pull the whole "umm, why are you talking to us" thing, be like "umm, because I have value and I can, fuck you guys if you don't want to just chat" and eject. remember, you do this all the time, no big deal. It isn't really an issue if…

Okay, when was the last time you judged someone for minding their own business? If your business is walking to class, you are going to be looking at people. They will look back. Acknowledge that theyre people, and you see them. Maybe a "sup man"

I encounter a similar problem. After reading your description, I believe you are worse effected by the self consciousness factor than I am, but same problem. From your slightly psycho (I got that you were using exaggeration as a tool to make a point, dont worry) post, I will give you my slightly psycho answer. Honestly, what I do most is mind my own business by looking at my watch, phone, or store windows whatever the case may offer, until I am near enough to have an exchange in passing. You don…

not often. you want a greater amount of interaction face to face than over electronics, and this is hard to acheive with tinder. Just wait till the date! unless she initiates some texting just say "see you then!" and be on with your life. it shouldn't be awkward to just not talk whne you two dont yet know each other. Dont sweat!

Dont take yourself so goddamn seriously, it'll make you seem creepy. Maybe crack a joke. If you make eye contact while exexercising, smile. They will generally be more receptive if you catch them on the way out, although spotting someone when its actually needed is nice.

An excuse to have her face near yours after you escalate, and she'll go for it
/r/seduction22/11/14 07:36 AM

Escalate by escalating your relationship. Move on from "quasi creepy guy she doesn't know" to "we had a great time talking about _____ at his party." If she feels this way, you dont have to engage in verbal jungle-jimmying and speechcraft to escalate, just once your talking somewhere be obvious. Its fine. "Do you get hit on a lot?" Or anything literally anything relating to hooking up and her mind is then on the subject, then, "I wonder what kissing you is like..." or something the like
