My personal qualm is MGM. I can’t consider a society “male friendly“ if the majority of baby boys lose their bodily autonomy within days or even hours. (And the US are atrocious from that perspective, yet act hypothetically about FGM.)

Yet, near universal MGM because of the religious imprint. I personally can’t consider a society “male friendly” if baby boys are denied basic bodily autonomy within days. (And no, it’s not anti-semitism, just human rights.)

Gynocentrism is the core psychological bias at the root of all of this, and women are so used to it that a shortage of privilege feels like oppression to them.

It’s the age old principle: “my money is my money, your money is our money.” This dynamic plays out at every level of society, and feminists have perfected the art of leveraging it.

Feminism and capitalism have been bedfellows for a looong time… nearly 2 centuries to be exact. What’s the core message of feminism? “Forget about motherhood and depending on men for financial safety. You must prioritize your career and be as independent as possible!” Talk about a fantastic message for business… and the average man be damned. As a matter of fact, all men have to work even harder to achieve that “marriage material” status. A massive win for corporations and the money overlords…

👏 Can’t agree more with every words you wrote there. And I don’t have the answer to your closing question. In 3 generations of radical feminism, I think that autonomy and accountability is all but evaporated.

In general I agree, but like in my situation, it seems like OP has reached a deep state of despair after years of neglect and rejection. In my experience, gentle nudges no longer work and there’s a clear possibility his wife is losing respect for him. That’s my reading at least.

I’m sorry brother, deeply sorry. Alas, I very much know the feeling you’re describing as I spent nearly a decade in a sexless marriage (as in zero sex, not just a few times a year). And the story almost repeated itself in my current relationship. My only advice: tell your wife you’re seriously considering a divorce if she’s not willing to work on intimacy. And if she doesn’t believe you, actually leave for a few days. Repeat if needed. In my experience, women think they don’t have to make any ef…

Wow, thank you. Truly. I don’t know you, I’ll never meet you, and there’s a chance you might be a bot, but if not, I can say that I love you*, as a human being and obviously as a woman too. (*) yes, after just one paragraph and FYI, you may know that I reserve non-romantic/non-familial love to a very, very small circle of friends. And I’m no longer afraid to share my feelings with them. That’s a fair point. Yet… I know it’s only “anecdata”, but here’s my perspective: I’m in my mid-50s, I have a mom, a sister, 7 female cousins, 2 grown daughters, a step daughter, 2 grown nieces, a female partner, an ex-wife, many female friends, and tons of female coworkers… so overall probably a pool of a few hundreds of real-world female relationships over my time on this planet. The problem is what's colloquially referred to as the gamma bias or empathy gap. Women prefer women as a group, and men have the same preference, which is why feminism has been so effective for generations and MRAs will never have the same success.

Maybe, but I think it's wishful thinking for the vast majority of women. Close to asking a fish to imagine life without water. For generations now, feminism has been so deeply embedded in our culture that it's the core psychological makeup of all women (and men for that matter)—including the ones who don't consider themselves feminists. Ask people around you: do you believe that for centuries women were oppressed by men? I guarantee 99% of women will say yes, and probably 75-80% of men. Then try…

Did you read what I wrote? “…and later on [men] help socialize children as they gain independence.” The very function of fathers is to help children succeed in society, away from the nurturing bubble of their mother. Hence the struggle of single mothers, in addition to the dangers of step fathers (well documented).

Which parent do babies and young children need more? And when I say more, I mean they need it practically 100% of the time for the first 18-24 months if not longer? If you don’t know experts like Erica Komisar can give you a clue. Now where will money come from during that time, especially if this particular couple goes for 2 or more children? What do we call a political movement that favors one group at the expense of another, including the slow extermination of that other group? Feminism is the antithesis of equality, it’s female supremacy, plain and simple. (And even most women aren’t happy in it, but so few are willing to break ranks.)

Thank you for sharing, OP. The level of hatred, ie pure misandry, “modern” women are able to publicly express is simple astounding. The male foreskin is not only 15x larger and significantly more innervated than the clitoral hood. Male circumcision routinely removes 50-60% of the penile tissue, equivalent to 12-18 square inches in the adult male. In top of that, the glans and remaining foreskin will harden (keratinize) over time, which will further the loss in sexual sensitivity. Yes, MGM is grossly underestimated in terms of sexual damages.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates07/06/26 11:49 PM
2

Thank you for that wonderful post, OP. One thing never mentioned when comparing the most common types of FGM vs MGM is the fact the male foreskin is by far the most sensitive part of the penis, equivalent in sensitivity to the entire clitoris (not just the tip). This means that routine male circumcision is actually more damaging in terms of sexual sensations and pleasure potential than nearly all types of FGM (with the exception of type 3, which is clearly horrific but thankfully rare). A recent…

Type 3 (infibulation) is the most horrific. Type 4 is actually the “mildest”. (Doesn’t make much sense, but that’s how WHO has it categorized/areas-of-work/female-genital-mutilation/types-of-female-genital-mutilation).)

Yes, you are correct that most circumcised men can still ejaculate and experience some kind of orgasm. Circumcision would have stopped a long time ago if it prevented procreation. However, according to cross-referenced testimonies (gay friends, men circumcised in adulthood, and most interestingly, the tens/hundreds of thousands of men who underwent foreskin restoration), the “typical” orgasm of cut men is a fraction of the length, richness, and intensity of the orgasms intact man can enjoy. I’m sorry to have to readjust your worldview, but the foreskin is the primary sensory system of the penis, specifically the ridged band, and even more specifically, the frenular delta that connects the ridged band to the frenulum. All of these parts are typically ablated by routine infant circumcision. Here’s the latest and most cited research: “These new results back up previous research, notably a 2017 study in the British Journal of Urology International (BJUI International), which found that…

We used to sacrifice babies and children to appease the gods. At some point, we “upgraded” our practice to only mutilate the organs (male and female) responsible for life and pleasure, with the exact same objective. Jews call it a “covenant” with God. That’s how tribal we were and still are…

💯 Male genital mutilation, the real name for non consensual circumcision, is the the ultimate double standard. Until we address such egregious injustice as “modern” societies, nothing else even matters. Think about it: each year we’re torturing and traumatizing millions of boys and depriving them of the right to bodily autonomy. There are no bigger crimes and yet not one government in the world has had the courage to take action. Not a single one.

Very well written and clear argumentation. And I obviously agree wholeheartedly. I doubt too many people in this sub disagree (although I’ve come across a fair share, usually American cut men), but go venture on to r/AskMen for instance, or on the more popular subs, and the pro-MGM ratio is well above 30%, with some people being complete mutilation diehards. Luckily it’s all for the better, as there are only benefits to male genital mutilations. Imagine the time saved from cleaning your genitals every day! Do you agree that men associate their worth (and self esteem) with their virility, right? It’s only a job because we culturally made it so. And it’s not a “job” when done in a religious setting. Read again what I wrote about forced penetration of the prepuce. It’s the very definition of rape!

> There is no loss of sexual pleasure. LOL. Biggest lie ever to be invented. Are you even aware of the structure and function of the male foreskin? Those of us restoring very much know the MASSIVE difference in terms of sensations and pleasure: I literally just had a full body orgasm!

Thank you. I'm also a survivor of MGM, and intactivism is what gives me the greatest sense of meaning, because I care about children (male, female, and intersex), and I genuinely want to see a better future for all of us. And I won't give up until we prevail against bigotry or apathy!

Again the example you provide is done for the benefit of the patient, motivated by a medically-justified purpose, therefore it can't be rape or any other type of assault for that matter. How can you be that obtuse yourself? And yes, 37% of the entire male population have been victims of 1) physical assault; 2) sexual assault; 4) rape; 5) torture; and 6) genital mutilation—because that's what forced, non-consensual infant/child circumcision entails. And you are stuck on an incorrect definition of rape. All the examples you give are consensual. That's the most critical factor about rape, it's forced penetration of the genitals, which routine infant circumcision totally is.

Medicine is about helping patients who are 1) in need of a treatment and 2) consent to said treatment. While practiced by doctors, routine infant circumcision is NOT medicine as it’s about brutally amputating healthy tissue without consent. That is the opposite of medicine, and yes, it’s torture and mutilation. Also here’s the definition of rape (Merriam-Webster): “unlawful sexual activity […] carried out forcibly […] against a person's will or with a person who is beneath a certain age or incap…

What’s wrong with FGM? Same issue, and the damages can be just as severe and often worse depending on the type of surgery (and how bad it goes). As a matter of fact, more than 100 baby boys die every year in the US alone, because of it.

Circumcision has zero health benefits, none. They are all debunked or irrelevant. And we don’t amputate any other body parts prophylactically. Ultimately, every human being (or living organism really) prioritizes their own survival, but what you’re describing about women vs men is rooted in our divergent reproductive strategies. Men compete by acquiring skills to accumulate resources with the goal of being attractive to the “best” (most fertile) women. Women compete to appear as young and fertile as possible to attract and keep the “best” (most resourceful) men. As we all know, women also are the limiting factor in terms of reproductiv…

That belligerence when the spark disappears does seem to be more of a feature than a bug. I’ve experienced it myself and couldn’t believe the radical transformation in my ex from wedding vows to divorce malevolence. Another major factor of “bad husbands” is the dead bedroom phenomenon, leading men to stray and be immediately painted as villains. (I’m not excusing adultery, but it is all-to-often excused when women do it.)

This is not just a feeling, brother, it's unfortunately confirmed by reputable studies. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/15491274/ If both men and women carry an implicit pro-female bias, then the "out-group" being implicitly downgraded in both cases is men. So statistically speaking, male individuals face more implicit bias against them across the population as a whole, from both their own gender and from women, while women face less of this automatic devaluation.

Louis Theroux is not just a white knight feminist, he is absolutely clueless about gender dynamics and the most basic concepts of evolutionary biology/psychology. His interview with Chris Williamson was appalling after claiming to have studied “the manosphere”. What a pathetic clown IMO.

I hate bringing up evolutionary psychology, but its explanatory power can’t be overstated. Men organize in hierarchies to garner the attention of potential partners, and women compete for winners, ie, men at the top of these hierarchies. Now what is the most powerful selection criterion for women? Social validation. Women evaluate a man's desirability based on the approval or interest shown by other women. For instance, men pictured with attractive women are rated more desirable. The ultimate ev…

I didn’t downvote you, but here’s what irks me in your comment (paraphrasing): “I have no ideas what I’m missing, but I’m not missing it!” Does that sound logical to you? There are thousands of websites and YT videos that describe the incredible complexity and numerous functions of the foreskin. Things will need to get worse before they get better. As terrible as it sounds, “modern” societies are on an accelerated path to extinction (feminism being one of the many factors)… yet, men do build societies. So our sons, grandsons, or more likely great grandsons, will be the architects of the future post-feminist societies. That’s my hope at least. You are correct that MGM is led by traumatized or bigoted men who can’t face the dread of their own sexual disability, just like FGM is led by traumatized women who are equally conditioned to perpetuate female subservience. It’s all incredibly ugly. A key difference, however is that FGM is near-universally condemned while MGM occurs at 7-8x time the rate and is tolerated or actively endorsed in all countries. Genital mutilation is in direct line with early blood sacrifices. Instead of offering a life to the Gods you offer the capacity for pleasure and/or procreation (i.e., engender life). The sensory capacity of the foreskin for sexual pleasure has been known for millennia, it was never an accident or a search for “hygiene”. Let’s stop that delusion. And you’re right that from that humiliating mutilation, it creates subservience and social hierarchies. And it’s still true today.

Same here. Her words: “no way I would be with you if you weren’t circumcised.” Just imagine a man, anywhere in the West or the vast majority of countries in the world, having the same expectation about his partner being genitally mutilated, for his own preference and pleasure… now don’t ever tell me misandry doesn’t exist. Thank you for an excellent post and for the reference. The paper you linked to is from 2016, so the patterns of male distress have been known for a while. Thank you for the link, OP. It’s fascinating how that same bias allowed a toxic ideology like feminism to be so effective from the beginning. Ok, and heterosexual men are 8-10x more likely than women to unalive themselves after a breakup.
