An interesting story just came up in my country. The federal tribunal just ruled against the biological father of a child conceived through an affair. He wanted partial custody of the child, but the mother refused. The married husband has assumed responsibility and the courts have (bizarrely, given that heritage is a big thing here) determined that the bio father isn’t necessary. It makes me wonder how many women have gotten away with this...

The hospital in my country did a blood test automatically. I think it’s mandatory, but I can’t find any supporting documentation. I’m happy either way.
