Childhood trauma is a bitch. Be strong and keep working on that. I think, from what I can see, that you are doing a great job and already actually did the hardest part in my opinion. Not gonna say it's the popular thing, in the same way I would not say this is the popular personality with men either. But as an introverted, low social battery, awkward, hermit, that one sip of alcohol gives me headaches nerd myself, I know at least two guys that are basically the same, one is married, the other has been with his girfriend for nearly two decades now.
