So then you’d agree it’s not that easy to pass the “looks threshold” for a lot of men. Agree that education and income are important especially for women in their mid 20s and up

Right, so don’t be short. And ethnicity is tied with social status. He’s not wrong.

Ok, thanks. I’d be more inclined to believe 80% within the last year and 70% within the past month if taking all ages of adults into account. What are your criteria?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/23 01:46 AM
1

What’s your criteria for getting laid “regularly” or “semi-regularly”?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/23 01:14 AM

Yeah, there are many more women with a strong preference for height than strong preference for muscles IME
/r/PurplePillDebate20/01/23 10:55 PM

Lol yup they love the big bois with big lifted trucks around here
/r/PurplePillDebate20/01/23 08:27 PM

You’re right. I’m giving a perspective based on my experience living in the rural Southern United States. Being a big bear of a man is practically the beauty standard around here 😂

Classic video! I remember this being posted on the bodybuilding forum over a decade ago. You’re right, there are some women who are into short muscular guys. Just not the majority and that’s OK.

I’ve seen this posted everywhere. Here’s my take as a short guy who played sports all my life and transitioned to weightlifting in college. This study is a no-brainer. Ofc if you’re 5’6 and 100 lbs soaking wet or 5’6 and 300 lbs and transform yourself into a 5’6 155 lb ripped Adonis, your dating prospects will improve. But for any guy who is a vaguely normal weight, it’s not gonna make much difference. Also confounding variables like feeling more confident from lifting and taking better care of …

I agree with you when it comes to dating in most cases. An exception would be a naturally attractive but obese and unkempt man who becomes fit and stylish- he would obviously benefit from OPs advice. Being said, I do find exercise and being fit has tons of health benefits and I’m all about it!
/r/PurplePillDebate10/01/23 09:52 PM

Being fit and dressing well is overrated for attracting women IMO. I’m jacked and dress sharp and 99% of the compliments come from other men. I think women care about facial features, coloring, and height way more
/r/PurplePillDebate10/01/23 05:45 PM
2

How old are y’all? Hate to say it, but that sounds pretty normal. I don’t even have sex that often LMAo
/r/PurplePillDebate07/01/23 04:40 PM

What you said made sense, relationships can be really complicated Hang in there man
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/23 07:52 PM

Hypermasculinity has been the standard for Black men for as long as I remember. That probably explains the appeal of manosphere/red pill content. Good point and appreciate the “not all Black men” lol

Lol I just said the same thing. I consider it a benefit
/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/23 11:06 PM

I think I know what they’re talking about. I’m muscular but I’ve had sex with a fat woman and there’s a loud clapping sound especially when you’re hitting it from the back. I find it sexy tho
/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/23 11:04 PM

Nice! Finally a vote for blk guys 😂

According to the FBI, white people commit 70% of all crimes LMAo. Check the source: https://ucr.fbi.gov/crime-in-the-u.s/2019/crime-in-the-u.s.-2019/topic-pages/tables/table-43

I last swam competitively when I was 5’6 140 lbs and was seen as ripped and muscular, but still considered a very small guy. You’re right that a 6’5 200 lb lean man is akin to a lean 5’5 guy weighing 125-130 lbs, the latter is a far less attractive physique to women IME.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/22 09:41 PM

If you’ve got multiple sex partners I recommend you get bigger condoms, stop jerking it, or both lol. Unless you don’t care about HIV, hepatitis, herpes etc…
/r/PurplePillDebate02/10/22 01:20 PM
2

All the stuff talked about on here has been discussed in Black barbershops, music, stand ups, even regular convos for ages. People just don’t know the history
/r/PurplePillDebate02/10/22 02:11 AM
2

Damn you hit the nail on the head with this 👏🏾
/r/PurplePillDebate02/10/22 01:58 AM
2

Haha you might be picky. I think plenty of women age like wine too, like Kandi Burress and Mary-Louise Parker
/r/PurplePillDebate06/09/22 02:36 AM

There are some types of guys who do look better between age 30-50 compared with younger. Pharrell Williams and Denzel Washington come to mind
/r/PurplePillDebate06/09/22 02:12 AM

Proud mom posted about her brown-skinned Jay Critch looking son becoming a firefighter and there’s tons of women simping over him on FB and other platforms
/r/PurplePillDebate05/09/22 11:21 PM

100% yes. I’m only 5’6 but I’d date any height, prob up to 7 feet TBH. I’ve been approached once by a woman who was 5’9
/r/PurplePillDebate01/09/22 12:08 PM
3

You’re right. Women are better at ultramarathons and the like
/r/PurplePillDebate28/08/22 12:11 PM
2

I completely agree with your take
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/22 08:00 PM

Wow, never thought of it that way. It came from my first gf, so that fits! Thx
/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/22 01:43 AM

It’s cool to know there’s others! Always just thought I was sort of a perv for that preference
/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/22 01:39 AM
1

That sounds like a dream lmao
/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/22 01:38 AM
1

Agreed. I’m find attractive BMIs even like 25-30
/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/22 01:35 AM
2

Same. Not a fan of facial or leg hair, but hairy pits and bush doesn’t bother me one bit cause of early experience lol
/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/22 01:27 AM
1

I think I’m dealing with what you’re describing. What do you think is the best way for a guy to handle this kind of situation?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/08/22 12:19 AM
2

Was this meant for someone else? I compliment my male friends and romantic partners. Sometimes it’s even reciprocated!
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/22 07:15 PM
2

Why not. I think a lot of them look nice.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/22 07:04 PM
2

It depends on how the BB is being treated within the relationship
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/22 06:54 PM
4

My male friends constantly complement and neg each other haha. I think it’s part of friendly banter
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/22 06:47 PM
2

Nah we need all the love we can get haha
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/22 12:57 PM
2

I see. One other thing I forget is how young some users are. Could be some late teens to 20-year-old guy would find her and Rihanna too old for them now. I’m already at the point where I view 18-20 year olds as kids pretty much
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/22 05:21 PM
1

Haha cool. Sounds like you’re more drawn to the things I listed?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/22 05:13 PM
1

IIRC she had more mainstream appeal in the Twilight era. She’s still very attractive, but I know ppl will downgrade shorter, dyed hair, androgynous clothes etc…
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/22 05:04 PM
9

Rihanna is clearly beautiful. I think she is getting downgraded for not having a mainstream style, same with Kristen Stewart
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/22 03:26 PM
2

I think women love these tall lanky white guys tbh. Back in the day it was Michael Phelps, now this dude and Pete Davidson. Faces could look like they were hit with a shovel and women still love them lmao
/r/PurplePillDebate02/08/22 02:32 PM
7

Lol hadn’t heard that term before but it’s true
/r/PurplePillDebate31/07/22 01:56 AM
1

It’s OK. I get that your premise mirrors guys who talk about not settling for anything less than strong raw attraction. I know women older than 20 can get that
/r/PurplePillDebate31/07/22 01:42 AM
1

I’m in my 30s dating a woman who is the same age and I prefer that. My colleagues are all the same and we make good money. Most guys prefer relationships with ppl around the same age, but we can find women who are much younger and sometimes much older very attractive too. Not feeling the unnecessary dig at short guys being 5’6 myself.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/07/22 01:34 AM
2

Wow, that’s terrible if this was made to trigger guys’ insecurities. And it shouldn’t be spread around as if it’s factual, if it can’t be verified
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/22 02:30 PM
2

Is the graph fake? I’ve seen it posted a ton of times.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/22 01:09 PM
2

Legit polygamist societies were pretty much what he was describing where the main men getting married or having kids were high status (wealth/nobility then looks but ideally both) The average to poor guys were often dying childless.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/22 08:09 PM
1

I can relate to this. On top of having a baby face, I’m short and could pass for a middle schooler when I was in college. Fun times haha
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/22 02:17 AM
2

True, there’s a lot to do with natural hair besides an afro/afro puff- like twists, twist outs, braids, locs etc…
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/22 11:08 PM
1

Ha true. Do you think most women are in the same boat then?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/22 03:40 AM
2

Exactly. I’m aware that I’m not a panty-melter (I’m super ripped but short and Black) so I have to invest a lot into a relationship, not just have looks carry me like some ppl can 🤷🏾
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/22 10:15 PM
3

Yeah those are all good points! Some of this may tie into cultural and socioeconomic factors too
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/22 06:31 PM
6

Ok this is an astute point. Guys with lower morals are always chasing tail, not in class, not working etc… lots more opportunities for “extracurriculars” lol
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/22 05:51 PM
23

Doctors and lawyers often deal with the same issues TBH. There’s a few charismatic types, but I know a TON personally and they aren’t gonna relate with most ppl. Now I’ll 100% give you that finance and advertising tend to be much more extroverted and charismatic
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/22 05:49 PM
11

Bingo! I have to be lit up to relate with most ppl in casual social settings, sad as it is to say
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/22 05:46 PM
3

It depends on how the person says it. I’ve seen men and women be unnecessarily harsh toward ppl they aren’t attracted to. To the point of dehumanization of short men, fat women, Black women, ethnic men etc…
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/22 05:40 PM
6

I’m 5’6 and your age. When I was younger, I heard a lot of negative comments about me or men in general being short. Recently, not so much. I think ideally for dating a guy would be at least 5’8-5’9 IME based on friends. No idea what percentage of women demand 6’, I think women could answer that better LOL
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/22 11:37 AM
2

I’m surprised most of the responses are that they don’t care about height much. Not at all what I expected TBH
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/22 12:31 AM
1

Yeah I think it’s a case of both the men and women maturing. I’d add it’s fine for older guys (30s-40s which I’m a part of) to play the field if they want to as long as they’re respectful about it.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/22 02:09 PM
1

I wonder what he’d think about Vince Wilforks’ wife hahaha
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/22 07:08 PM
1

I know cause I’m one of them 😂
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/22 03:44 PM
3

That’s like average gymnast size. They are usually ripped and muscular
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/22 11:59 AM
3

You’re funny. When the OP dropped the “number 4” pic in an earlier post, I was actually the one telling them I’ve seen plenty of football players date women with her body type. I’m surprised to see commenters (men and women) be like a woman built like that are gross and only trash men would want them. No way 😂
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/22 11:56 AM
9

Exactly, same here. I’m shocked by some of these comments, it’s quite common where I’m from.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/22 11:59 PM
7

You’re right about that 💯
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/22 11:20 PM

She’s hot to guys who like chubby/fat women. If guys only like skinny/average women, she’d be a huge turn off. IME she’s fine based on appearance alone.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/22 03:56 AM
3

That’s a perfect example. A lot of girls like that date football players or guys who look like they play lol
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/22 10:05 PM
8

I’ll put it like this. Say there’s a ripped, good looking guy who is 5’5 150 lbs. I’d bet money he’d have more women who are 5’0 110 lbs attracted to him than 5’6 190 lbs. I’ve lived it too no cap
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/22 08:13 PM
1

It’s been the same with me. Older and fatter women seemed to be more savage, undermining your masculinity for approaching them LMAO. Ironically I’ve found young and very petite women (short and thin), even pretty ones, tend to be most open to short guys.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/22 08:06 PM
1

It’s absolutely insane that the people you dated treated you so poorly. Also, you’re at least the third Black woman who commented something similar. Are things better for you now? I hope so!
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/22 01:12 AM
5

It’s awful that you’ve experienced so much racism too! Hope things improve for you✌🏾
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/22 12:14 AM
6

Damn that’s brutal 😢. Sorry that’s happened to you
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/22 12:29 AM
1

That’s cause fat girls aren’t actually down bad the way a lot of guys are. During school years is different, but not during adulthood.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/22 02:17 PM
5

Good thing Black women tend to be more religious on average, plus not all non-religious women dislike Christians. You might have it harder than average, but your situation isn't hopeless.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/22 02:12 AM
2

Thank you for explaining and copy that. All kinds of people are beautiful ✌🏾
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/22 12:54 AM

You find short dudes hot fr?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/05/22 11:33 PM
