I agree with you. Crimes happen all the time. Many crimes never have enough evidence to prove and people get away with them. That seems to be the way it works and its a good thing because you shouldn't be able to convict someone without solid evidence. But that standard seems to go from "beyond a reasonable doubt" to "somewhat convincing" when it comes to rape.
