2	How to fix "rape culture": Teach women not to throw their babies in the dumpster I work with survivors of domestic violence who are in the hospital (for injuries directly related to DV or for unrelated issues but who disclose abuse when asked). I also work in a psych hospital, and a lot of patients who have been raped will have hallucinations of the rape happening again. It's actually a very normal PTSD reaction, especially if someone has other mental health conditions of substance abuse issues. If they get a name for dad, he can visit whenever he wants. Same with known as mother. Even if there are safety concerns. It's a disaster. However, if she declares the father on the birth certificate or to staff, then once the child is actually born, he can be notified that his child is at the hospital and may visit him. Do you have any citations re: babies for welfare/financial benefits of having welfare babies?
