Stop trying to be the “good guy” who follows generic advice and then resents the outcome. Read No More Mr. Nice Guy by Dr. Robert Glover and understand the difference between being kind and being approval seeking. Blunt truth: women are not a hive mind and advice is not a cheat code to fix your situation... If you build yourself around validation, you’ll stay frustrated. Build competence, boundaries, and self respect instead.

If the strategy is care less that’s not maturity… that’s just emotional withdrawal The real issue isn’t caring too much but i think it is when dating becomes your main source of meaning and validation. When you build a life with purpose, direction, and responsibility, you don’t need to play power games. You just are and you just care, but you’re not desperate. Declining numbers do not automatically mean motherhood is a bad deal. They often mean the surrounding system makes it harder to combine family and modern life.

Motherhood is hard and often undervalued, that is true. But calling it a bad deal ignores that many women choose it freely and find meaning in it. It is reasonable to opt out, but it is not reasonable to reduce it to exploitation.
