The anger some of these people have is frightening. And how they justify violence and destruction of property through some ideological bs is insane. I mean even Obama is against violence, but many far lefties hate him now because he’s too white washed ideologically to fit their radical mold 🤡

Yes recently lost a good friend to “leftism”. I live in a city that was ravaged by the looting. I saw first hand how it impacted small businesses in particular. How many store fronts already closed because of the combination of losses, fear of future riots and unrest, and the Corona economy. I was against violence and looting and rioting, but she kept posting about how I’m not part of the oppressed group so I don’t get to judge how they protest. I’m mid-twenties and I still want to go back to school. A lot of guys who are even like five years older than me don’t want me to go back to school. Older men are stifling. Baggage would be ex girlfriends and unresolved issues. If you’re 35+ years old, male and unmarried then there’s something a little wrong if you didn’t go thru intensive schooling or something IMO.

This whole movement has made me very much question my own beliefs. I’m not as liberal as I thought I was. I do believe that racism should go die, but I can’t get onboard with Marxism and violence.

Yes it’s tiring walking on eggshells constantly. Whether it’s politics or just random stuff, everything I say has been misconstrued as offensive in some way or fashion. It’s so draining and not worth it. I’ve even been explicitly told to not say what I really think to some of my friends because it hurts their feelings. I’ve also been explicitly told they just want someone to agree with them. I don’t care for people who don’t care about my thoughts; I’m not a soundboard! Luckily I have friends wh…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
