I agree with this. I can't tell you how many times a guy had asked me out but doesn't plan anything. If you asked me out, then it's your responsibility to plan for it and let me know so I know what to plan for. Example: fist date, he asked, said I'll meet you at xyz. I came dressed nice-ish and he came in a sweatshirt for some evening hiking. Would've been a fun date if I was dressed for it. This is one of the biggest things that I've had a hard time with in my relationships. I am always trying to improve myself, to be better. Be it in my looks, my job, helping others out, learning new skills, something. Try to be consistent in improvements to you and your life. If you need to be a little stagnant for a bit, that's fine. Just don't stay there for years.

This guy knows his stuff. I can't tell you how many guys I meet doing things I enjoy. I do something fun, meet new friends, maybe get a date out of it. Not to shabby.

I never said that I buy the books ;-) I go to look mostly and to be in a huge bookstore with one of the things I like a lot. I also go and see books that I might want to check out at the library later. Yes, a lot of guys have asked me my opinion as a way to start a conversation. That's why I go to the sections that I like and that I know guys will probably be in.

Not a guy, but I thought I would toss my two cents in. I get hit on quite often and these have been some of my favorite places. Bookstores have been the best, shows they are smart and like to read. Festivals are also great, they show you like to have fun. At the park enjoying the sun. Supermarket and you get to see what foods they like to enjoy. Museum's are nice. Climbing gym. Coffee shops.
