Down, but I agree each day should have a unique goal, with a progression.

Well, I think of all the times I didn't go out and how shitty/guilty I felt about it afterwards. I also think about the awesome nights I've had where I almost didn't go out. And if I am committed but still a little anxious, I take a shot or two. I'm not ashamed to not be past using alcohol as a bit of a crutch from time to time.

A slightly more biologically viable version of /u/psycho-logical 's comment. Nice.

The second one feels canned if you use it as an opener, but it seems like it goes well with a genuine compliment about something she has control over. You can tell her that you like something about her outfit that takes at least a little observation and knowledge to notice, and then say that you were gonna wear the same thing, or whatever.

Yeah. No canned lines or "witty" responses needed (just like you don't need a canned opener). I always either say what you said, or "I just didn't feel like sitting at home", depending on which one is true (since if I'm out alone, it honestly will be either because I couldn't find anyone to go out with or I just wanted to be not at home). This is a classic "those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind" situation.

He meant easy to figure out/please. Yeah, guys like different things, but in the end we all pretty much get off the same way.

Question: You started to touch on this topic, but then deviated. What would you do if she says she's busy? I know the standard advice: Busy, does not offer alternative = move on (you talked about this: tell her "I can see you're not interested" etc) Busy, offers alternative = she's interested but genuinely busy But how do you reconcile the second option with your advice of showing her you are a busy person and only maybe actually interested? Say no, but propose another alternative following the …

Forget the fact you got one number. Forget she added you on facebook. Forget you got a date booked for tonight. This resonates with me - this is the cure for early oneitis (that is, the kind you get when you get a date and stop trying for others even though you have no way of knowing whether that one will even turn into anything - the kind where you are hung up on an ex or something is different, IMO). You know how when you have a girlfriend, other girls seem to come out of the woodwork to show …

Meh, the girl that cheated on me has also cheated on everyone since me, and nobody before or after has cheated on me, so I don't buy this. Yes, it may be the case in some instances, but it's nowhere near universal. That said, the end of any relationship is a good opportunity to make yourself awesome.

I think a lot of teaching can sometimes be driven by ego. That doesn't mean one can't be an effective teacher and avoid bragging. Let the content of the FR, not how you write it, do the bragging, if one must brag.

Well seeing as the majority of what I read was quite level headed and reasonable, I disagree. The people posting in that thread have done a great job of getting across the true message of PUA, which at the end of the day is nothing more than self improvement and confidence building. I agree, the content here matches your description well. I too can count many ways the principles here have improved my life that have nothing to do with women. However, the first impression does not at all convey th…

Nice. This totally fits with my general personality/sense of humor. Using it. There are some jokes I make that are just for me, and if other people are entertained, even better. This will be one.

Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Neptune, Mercury, Dionysus One of these things is not like the other ones. Though if I used these names and she called me out on it, I'd probably use one of my rings to propose right there.

I think he is basically referring to the numbers game aspect of it. Think of it this way - if you get rejected 90% of the time, but you make 10 approaches per week, well you'll still get one <insert goal> per week, which is probably a lot if you are on reddit reading seduction advice (no offense intended because it applies to me). So, rejection is just one of the failures and now, statistically*, you're closer to not getting rejected I can't say if that's exactly what he means, but that's the on…

Maybe hurts in the short term (a couple drinks to loosen up), but will certainly help in the long term as you learn to do it without any crutches. It'll naturally increase your daygame confidence too, I imagine.

No, this is more like searching through your pairs of pants expecting to find $20. Doing the other challenges and then getting a #close or more out of it would be more like your analogy. If you're a wide receiver, you get better at scoring (word choice intentional) by increasing your catching, running, jumping, etc. A receiver can have a great game without scoring any points.

General rule of thumb when scheduling dates is: If she doesn't respond, she's not interested (duh) If she says yes, you're golden (duh) If she says she can't but suggests a different day, you're fine - accept her alternative if it works for you If she says she's busy but doesn't suggest an alternative, generally she's not interested (your case) However, you are the best judge here on that last point - if you have plans and she enjoyed herself (and you can tell she did, not just based on what she…

Yeah, can't get past that. Also he never mentions a single thing about her actual personality except "intelligent" and that she DHVs for him. It's like he's still running game even now that it's official. This doesn't end well.

I would say the aimlessness is a problem, only because you want to have natural points to move it forward. Also the general advice seems to be venue changes are a good thing. If you are able to keep up good conversation for a long time though, that is a good thing. So by all means, take a walk. But have a plan to keep it from being a 3 hour walk where nothing progresses. For example, walk to the mini golf course, or walk until the movie starts, or whatever. Otherwise go with CuilRunnings.

What I've learned is that some girls just don't kiss on the first date. If they pull this then I will never pursue that girl again. Been seeing someone for a couple months who didn't let me kiss her on the first date. All the signs were there, but she has a hard and fast rule (we met online, so it's her creeper-ward). Second date she initiated before I even had a chance to. Third date she was licking my cum off her fingers. Different circumstances call for different measures. Rely on all the sig…

If it's an established friend then don't worry about it. It's not like you have to worry about coming off as needy and all that. Text a second time if you want. Just don't let yourself be jerked around. But it's much less of a game.

I have a first date tonight and this was immensely helpful. Thanks to this sub, and you, I have a much more concrete idea of how it will go down and what do to. As an aside for anyone who happens to do this, What's your biggest flaw?" I avoid the cop-out, job-interview-turn-it-into-a-positive kind of answer Interviewers see through that BS. The best way to answer is to give an honest answer, maybe with an example, and then a concrete explanation of how you are working to change it. That shows yo…

For workouts, in addition to the lifting regimen recommended by others (particularly frogma), I'd recommend high-intensity interval training. You can do a serious HIIT workout in 20 minutes, including warmups. After warming up, jog for 30 seconds, sprint (I mean SPRINT) for 30 seconds, repeat without rest 10-15 times depending on your level. You can walk briskly in between instead if necessary. This will burn fat and boost your metabolism in general. You really only need to do it probably twice …

That's cool, man, I've been thinking of attempting something similar myself. Probably would have a few beers, but stay sober. Question: Obviously, being out alone requires a DGAF attitude, which is fine, but does it lower your value in some peoples' eyes, and how do you prevent that? Or do you not worry about it?
