She seemed like a nice girl from what she responded. Tried to appease you even though you were being a child about it, and you blew it.

Actually that was pretty informative. Thanks for the information! Definitely makes sense that that was more than likely what happened then.

Totally agreed, I don't really mind other people doing whatever the fuck they want to do, Just not a move I'd use personally.

It was in the same breath of their conversation ending and her turning away to talk to us, not really later in the night.

Of course, as did he. He did introductions and made small talk with her for a while. He was decently attractive but he also took notice to the rings she had on her hand(might've been why she thought it was so awkward, he made mention of her hands while holding her hands)

He left because it was awkward and she didn't really want to talk to him. Minutes later she mentioned how odd and awkward it was. Just stating my personal observation with this method in the field.

I once saw a guy do this to one of the girl's I was hanging out with that night and she later made fun of him for holding her hand too long. Like anything, moderation is key. If you're holding someone's hand for 30 seconds, It's going to feel forced and awkward.

I don't normally tend to try to bounce intentions off of my buddies when hitting on waitresses or waiters. One line a friend of mine used a while ago that I've had pretty good success with goes like this -Look at check puzzled "Hey I think you forgot something on here?" -She'll lean in and look at the receipt assuming you're sitting and don't slide it towards her and usually respond with, "what?" or some other generic response. "Your phone number" I like this line because it works great on anyon…

As a guy who gets approached pretty regularly by females, and has had a successful relationship out of one of these, I think your opinion is a little off. Still I would say 9/10 of my interactions are started by me. The 10% are very rare, and can be seen as extremely sexy in their confidence.

I have. I'm dating a girl now that was unhappy with her LDR(makes things a bit easier). We were completely platonic until they broke up; I just gave her a reason to leave.

So what you're saying is, all human interaction comes down to getting laid?

The entire point of this reddit is about improving yourself. Being charismatic, outgoing, and yes, part of that is talking to women, but it's also about talking to everyone. There's a reason that one of the first steps of improving your "game" is talking to people. I talk to old people on elevators, am I going to fuck them? Absolutely not, but I've had hours upon hours of conversations with people I have no interest in fucking, all because I stepped outside of my comfort zone, partially because …

You spend half of your post talking about sex. You're missing his point.

I'd be able to help you if you were a little closer on the Peninsula, but you're about an hour out.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
