Yes you're allowed to be attracted to other girls but if you're with one and she does something you like, for god's sake enjoy it. No need to play head games with a girl you like. This is important advice.

So the party was in SF? It would be hilarious/awesome if you guys went to the same party.

Well I think I read Seattle, if so then there are two lingerie parties going on tonight!

You're not in northern California are you? Not 5 minutes after I read your post my friend says to me "so my two friends were going a lingerie party today..."

Just remember how important even the smallest gestures can be. A girl I'm with told me she first felt attraction for me after I put my hand on the small of her back to guide her when we were walking somewhere

They are not good at making conversation which makes others feel comfortable(rapport). This happens by asking questions about the other person. Wait, are you saying that asking questions about the other person will not make them feel comfortable?

Mind giving some info on going to a Japanese college as an American? I'm assuming it must not be easy to be accepted/pay your way through.

This was me about 2 months ago. Everything you mentioned, but all it took was one night of luck at a party (away from my usual group of friends) to send me rocketing back onto the right track. Not completely where I'd like to be by any means, but I'd say I'm in a way better position than I was before. Confidence restored, able to banter with girls and people... Just keep on trucking man, you'll get there.

Where are you located, Japan? Edit: Nevermind! Just saw your other posts. May I ask, how did you become fluent in Japanese? Studying in school, or just from living in the country?

Indeed. I'm 23 as well, and I know that while I'm not in any hurry to move out at the moment, I will eventually and I'll have 50 or so years to live on my own. I'm using this time to save money and focus on my goals without the added worry of rent.

Most people expect young adults to have their lives on track by that age, meaning they've graduated college and at least have their own place with a roommate or two. Ha, fuck most people.

What kind of Karaoke? Asian style where you go in a private room with your friends, or in front of a crowd?

Don't you get paranoid about STDS, or if they're lying about being on the pill?

I was a natural in high school but had that stripped from me by an emotionally devastating break up with my high school sweet heart. Buh, this is exactly what I'm going through. I've been through rough breakups before, but this one was the worst. Can't believe how much it affected me
