Myers-Briggs is pseudoscience. It has long been replaced by the Big Five model, which has decades of empirical backing. No serious scientist uses Myers-Briggs. If you don‘t believe me, go on Google Scholar and check out studies on personality. They all use the Big Five model.

Many of your points are valid, however, they only highlight some of the negative consequences of the sexual revolution. There are many positive aspects, such as allowing for individual lifestyles instead of just following a narrow template. 100 years ago I would have practically been forced to marry a woman, have children and finance this. But this goes completely against my own nature and desires, so I‘m glad the sexual revolution allows me to say no to this. People have a choice now.

I really don‘t see a reason why I would steal someone else‘s survey and collect data ... What possible gain would I have from this? I understand your concerns though as you don‘t know who I am. And you are right. I should have made a picture with my Reddit username and the AYTM dashboard to prove that this is my survey. Point taken.

Hmmm I’m not sure how to prove that to you. I wouldn‘t see the point in messing with someone‘s data. This topic is dear to me and I‘ve always been passionate about science, in particular statistics and its application to further the understanding of the mind. The way I see it, hard data helps to improve everyone‘s life.

Thank you, mate! If you guys like that, I could post the results once the analysis is completed (will take me a few weeks to dig through the data, make the tests and write the results up). In particular, any gender differences that pop up after correcting for age, income, etc ... will be of interest.

It‘s a pre-test to test the reliability of the scales and to test / develop basic hypothesis about the interaction between (big five) personality and the perception of time. It asks for some basic demographic data: gender, parental status, annual income and a few others. However, it does not ask for name, more specific personal information and does not record IP. Also, incomplete responses are not recorded, so if the survey is closed before it is fully completed, I do not receive any of the resp…
