Well, if feminism purports to smash the patriarchy, we have to also acknowledge that the patriarchy built masculinity & all its toxic traits. So, true feminists do embrace the ideas and hold space for men to be sensitive and vulnerable, and all the things patriarchy forces upon men. I can’t tell, I think we’re on the same side. But, I don’t criticize feminism for not having made enough strides for men’s rights, because gender inequality is still a huge issue across the board.

Why aren’t you fixing it? Are you normalizing physical affection between two straight men by practicing that behavior in public?

It’s probably a waifu pillow he’s had for 10 years that smells like spit.

I really don’t try to fight people, I am genuinely curious about their train of thought. It’s definitely a hurtful ideology. Confused how Casra is both happily married but also a man going his own way. /u/casra888 do you have any input? Does your wife have Reddit/share your opinions of women?

All they need to do is tap into their primal masculine energy and kill people at war and go scuba diving to prove their fortitude!!! And then they’ll still be single living in their parents basement because they have the personality of a slug.

The same thing could be said about men, right? The average person regardless of gender is just living their life working their job & supporting themselves. It is rare that American people are able to travel, or engage in expensive hobbies. What have I done? Plenty. This isn’t a dick measuring contest nor do I have tattoos reflective of my lived experiences.

Like all the Reddit chuds on here are displaying their war torn and battle weary tricep barbed wires tattoos... not. They’re circlejerking to these threads in their parents basement. I hate Reddit.

Did you see the thread below and casra888s response? Reads like some kind of old spice ad for what heroism is inherent in men.

None of these things are exclusive to men though, right? Like hypothetically a woman could also achieve these things and have them tattooed to remember it, right?

What rites of passage exists for white men in American culture which is signified by inking on skin specifically?

You’re fucking dumb. Tattoos are a masculine trait? Since when? Why are tattoos gendered when they are entirely optional for everyone?

This is so stupid, suggesting women don’t consider what tattoos women are getting but Men do? No one in this sub has ever actually interacted with a woman and it shows.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
