I was going to suggest crocheting lol Needle work can be good too. However, I think you should do a little effort to get interest in what he's into. It's fine if you don't love football, but try to reframe it as your interest in him. Use this time to talk to him, let him teach you the rules, ask him about personal stories regarding the sport and such. If football isn't interesting to you, he surely is... so try to enjoy it.

Since I like sewing but I'm not too good at it, I make a lot of simple dresses to use at home. Sometimes I even make matching sets with my daughter, lol. My husband does appreciate my crafty interests.

My kid isn't at school yet, but she used to be very calm as a baby and I would feel very lonely and bored when we were living in an apartment at a big city. I spent way too much time mindlessly online. Now we moved to a small farm, my husband mostly work from home and it's so easy to get busy. As a woman, I feel extremely annoyed by it. There is a huge paranoia cult and they tend to shut everyone who doesn't fall for it. I understand taking precautions, but a lot of time this energy goes to the wrong places... ie. instead of focusing in surrounding yourself with more reliable people they just fear monger about walking on the streets. A couple of weeks ago, there was a very bizarre post in a Brazilian subreddit from a girl who left a party earlier than her friends and she was too drunk…
