People staring at you like this says more about them than you

I don't entirely disagree with you. But please don't imply it is all women, because I'm definitely not like this. I'm an engineer and when my car has an issue I go to the mechanics (I don't have the time to repair myself), but after I do my "homework" (to have an idea of what's wrong, how much it could cost, how long repairs would be...). Women are simply more agreeable and less assertive than men. That's one of the reasons why they pay 50% more for pink razors. (Also they WANT pink razors for s…

Do some women really say that? I mean, call me traditional or whatever, like I would appreciate the guy to offer to pay for the first date (because the guy usually asks for the first date and sets it up). But I know that's a bit controversial with some people so I would certainly not get offended if he does not, and even less ask him to do so.

Thanks! I did not know about this one

Where does this come from ; female circumcision is worse and you shouldn't compare them because women have it worse than men do" So if women have it worse, you are comparing? Lol I don't get the argument. Both are genital mutilations and are absolutely horrible

What the government is actually doing (in response to the international students who pay for the system gone due to COVID) is increase the cost of all arts and psych degrees and capping costs of STEM ones I agree with you. But it will also probably push more domestic student in STEM areas.

That is so disgusting. I'm sending you virtual hugs Are there any kind of support for men where you are?

Well it should be taken seriously I think, because they are dangerous

Wao thanks for replying. I had no idea, it seems so illogic to me, that I never imagined it could be a thing

It’s a horrible feeling but I promise you, there are good feminists out there who just want to see good. True, unfortunately you don't hear from them much

I strongly disagree with this. Simply let people choose their occupation, that is equality. What they are trying to do isn't. Where I work they have created opportunities for females only. As a women, I honestly find it detrimental, even to women. If I picture myself in one of these position, I would not be able to stop thinking that I only got hired for my gender. It would just make me feel like my previous work is worthless.

I'm curious. Is this something that translates into all procedures. Like if I get a surgery, do I need my husbands permission? The whole thing does not make sense

I agree you should have a conversation before. But ultimately his body his choice.

Yeah like on a youtube video. To be honest I'm thinking about doing the test with my boyfriend. Very curious to see if it is the same here in Australia

Sure, but that is not specific to France anymore. Could happen anywhere

Definitely, it made me more aware of things impacting men too. There was plenty of things I had no idea about. I really appreciate that he decided to talk to me (in a logical way), and listened to my responses. He also made me realise how some feminists speech are limit hatred. Like I would hear the things and be like "it is a bit much". But I never realised how much it could hurt

En France le père est aussi libre de ne pas reconnaître le gosse
/r/MensRights21/07/20 06:23 AM

This is not explaining the whole thing. In France a man has to sign papers declaring that he is the father. If he doesn't he is not liable over any kind of child support, and the child is not recognised as his

I wasn't bullied at school. But you çan say I was over sexualised by some guys, even at a young age. It is still not an excuse for seeing every man as a toy

I am swiss, and a woman. Feminism is not so much a thing there compared to Australia or the US . At least it wasn't when I left 4 years ago.
/r/MensRights09/07/20 10:47 AM

That's why a lot of swiss try to get a double citizenship. I don't really see why people are arguing about women voting on this matter. I think the main issue is why this is not extended to women as well, simply suppressed, or changed (in France for example they would have one day, for men and women of something, I did it but can't remember what they told us lol)

I can relate with you. I was a feminist back in Europe. The reasons were: bad experiences with boyfriends and more importantly constant harassment in public areas (especially late in the evening). At the time, I just wanted things to change. Be able to go out, enjoy my life without needing guy friends to babysit me. Back then I have never met any real feminist group (most of the people I knew were men). Few years ago I moved to Australia, and damn.... I met some of these feminists.... So much ha…
