2	Why do so many men lust after the "goth" aesthetic/lifestyle? I don't know. I was an awkward nerd in high school and I was very into the one goth girl. I guess she was just very noticeable, pretty and unique. The way she handled her appearance was like a work of art. People who have a well defined aesthetic are like artists. It makes you want to know them: what is it about that make them want to look different? They're also badasses, there's a courage in adopting such an aesthetic. She did get bullied a bit for it. 8	What did I do wrong at the club? Walking up to girls and grabbing them by the elbow isn't acting confident, it's creepy. Try to put yourself in their shoes. You should be framing the situation as you evaluating them first. Just approaching them and hoping they like you sets them up as the judge.
