toned down version of my fuckboy profile

I was thinking of posting my profile later on the r/hinge subreddit so will link it to you soon. I’ve experimented with shirtless pics and had varied results. The topless gym mirror selfies do worse than the shirtless pics at the beach or at parties. Even better if you’re in a group with guys - the music festival pics with friends have done the best for me I think. Activity photos that show you not taking life too seriously give them the impression you’re just there to have a good time, so that’…

I have a pretty fuccboi profile and yes it does work. However I still speak to them with decency and not make it seem like I’m only going to fuck them and leave. You still have to play it like a normal date and make sure to lead the way to sex after the date. It’s not as simple as having a fuccboi profile and inviting them over to your room immediately.

Humour helps, also finding common interests and reasons why they’d like to meet with you again

You might be giving them an innocent impression when you get their number so they struggle to say no to you, and hence give you their number to be polite. But they aren't attracted to you so don't pursue it further. Obviously you don't want to do the opposite and be rude to them either when asking for their number, but make your first impression count and pique their interest so they'd be keen to meet up with you later for a date.

Great post and excellent advice. Agree with pretty much everything you said

It’s all about incremental improvements. It takes time. Keep chipping away until the big win comes

Working on myself. The first step is to identify the problem that’s holding you back. In my case, it was my poor conversational skills and consciousness of my appearance that held me back. I put in the hours to improve both of those weak points which in turn improved my confidence and results.

Keeping them engaged and interested in you while also not coming off as too clingy. It’s a fine line to walk.

I’d keep it light hearted and say something like “thanks, I thought it was terrible haha” or “I see you’ve got good taste ;)”

True, but the point of this post isn’t the girl itself but to take actions early on because women don’t wait.

Across feels more like an interview and more confrontational. Side by side you can be closer and go for the touch on the palm or nudge from time to time which is good to spike her attraction.

Definitely not the cinema. Best way would be to find out what she likes, directly or indirectly, and tailor your date towards that. For example, if she likes sunsets perhaps a walk along the beach and grabbing milkshakes after would be a good idea. Otherwise a quiet cafe where you can sit side by side and talk is a safe bet. Try not to talk about serious topics (e.g. career, political views, etc), keep it lighthearted and spike her emotions up.

Yep, and cracking the ice is all that's required for now. Since she's also a regular at the gym, chances are you're going to bump into her many times again and by then it'd only be natural for her to intro herself to you or vice versa.

"after your workout, can i buy you a smoothie downstairs and introduce myself?” Do not say this or at least don't word it like this. It comes off as way too needy. Just say, "want to grab a smoothie from downstairs after we're done?" or "let's grab a smoothie from downstairs if you're free".

I know man, it’s tough to let go. But trust me you’ll only make it worse by actively trying to get her back. The only advice I’d give other than ‘letting go’ is to distance yourself from her and work on yourself. Let the results speak for themselves and in the future she’ll realise it’s her loss for letting you go so use that as your motivation.

“nice moves” or “damn, you’re really good at this” or “you must be a regular here” and then wait for her response and take it from there

I dislike the term “hitting on” because it sounds like making the interaction overtly sexual from the get go. I prefer to take a smoother approach. Fair point about girls being different though - you could try an approach with one girl and she may be put off due to bad past experiences with guys like that, but you could try the same approach with another girl and it could work fine.

Literally just make a comment about the book they’re perusing and see how it goes from there. If they reciprocate, you can take it further by asking about what they’re reading, what you’re reading, maybe cracking a joke about the genres they’re into (e.g. if they’re into crime, you can maybe joke “you’re not a serial killer are you?”) and then introduce yourself by your name and get to know them a little more. If it goes well, then exchange numbers saying it’d be nice to keep in touch. Doesn’t h…

The better results with women due to lifting or hair loss due to lifting? I don’t think lifting is to blame for the hair loss…it’s been happening progressively for the last few years and I have a history of it in my family so it’s not surprising. Can’t afford a transplant though so sticking with whatever prescribed meds I’ve got to slow it down. Lifting has made me look better/fuller in t-shirts with the bulk and more confident in talking to women overall so I think it’s definitely helped in tha…

I’ve definitely experienced the same as you. Also, for what it’s worth, I now have way better results on dating apps as well (although I value in person interactions much more). Only downside is my hair loss has accelerated heaps lately and taking meds for it screws up my mood and confidence.

That’s not that short…wear some sneakers with decent mid soles(e.g. Nike air max) and you could be 5’9 which is already taller than most girls (given they aren’t in heels haha)

Maybe try Indian girls to start off with? Maybe it’s the cultural barrier that’s holding you back. Your English is great from what I can see in your replies but often times it takes more than that…accent, mannerisms, slang and expressions in the spur of the moment when talking to a woman can make all the difference. You’re likely to have more commonalities with someone of the same culture. Not saying to limit yourself - definitely pursue women of all races and backgrounds you desire, but you’ve …

Replying to their stories is an easy in-road. Just think of something good to say that prompts further conversation and doesn't just end it with a like on your comment or "haha" as their reply to you.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
