There's no reason to ever meet or plate an ex IMO. Move on, there are other women out there who can satisfy your needs without the drama. It's also personally satisfying to know you don't need someone like that in your life anymore...

She told me the night before that her sister said she was a narcissist. I wanted closure for sure, but that's not the way life works, I've learned.

"Narcs have none to little empathy." This is the big one - they only care about themselves. I dated a narcissist (she told me her sister said she was one the night before we broke up and I would agree) for about a year and the feeling no empathy is a great way to spot one. The crazy part is that she owned a pit bull and would treat it like her child and sometimes liked doing things for poor people (we live in LA where there is a ton of homeless), but after we would attend social gatherings all s…

Been taking salsa classes since March in LA. Don't do it for the chicks (I'd say that there are hot chicks who take salsa classes, but there's also a lot of ugly ones), but rather for the social/networking opportunities. Lots of people from class go to salsa clubs throughout LA and that opens me up to meeting more women. Plus, the better you get, the more girls are impressed and want to fuck you.

This was refreshing to hear. Seems like you know exactly where I'm at in life. Are you around my age too? Something about this time around your 30's is when shit starts getting real. Funny thing is, I'm about to turn down 2 job offers that I've received over the last 2 months, as well. Just not right fits/salary. How long ago was this for you?

Yeah, agreed. I knew what I was getting into with her (so many red flags), but I love exotic asians and she fit the bill. Lesson learned. We work in react/node on the front/back-end.

then pay for sex or take a trip overseas. get out of your environment. i've found it the easiest to get laid when i'm traveling. finding a mentor is easy. let me give you a concrete example. i started taking salsa classes 4 months ago. i have a great instructor, but i found someone who was really good at salsa and asked her to help me out with all my moves. she's been my mentor and helped me improve significantly. find someone in a field of interest (online makes this even easier) and reach out …

lesson one: there is no unicorn. she never existed and never will. lesson two: if you're getting burned multiple times, that's on YOU. once, maybe twice, fine, but more than that and you need to look yourself in the mirror. try waking up everyday and smiling to the first 10 people you see. watch their reactions and how it changes your overall mindset.

thank you also for sharing! it's all about the process and if you have the right process, the outcome will take care of itself.

learn a technical skill (computer programming, anything) that separates you from others and where you don't even need a college degree. take online courses. do something!

Don't worry about sex or women right now. Find yourself a mentor or someone in real life that can help show you the way. You don't want to consistently fail at anything, but rather fail so you can learn the right way to do things in the future.

"The reading I’ve done over the last 9 months on RP and some of the books you’ve all recommended had mentally prepared me for this moment, but I didn’t TRULY believe it. My eyes were opening slowly, but they’re wide open now." That's when you know you've truly swallowed the red pill. One of the most bittersweet moments of your life. Just be happy you're one of the (few) men who've been able to experience this.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
