You could also say “Why make football the goal? Isn’t rugby the endgame?” Are there transferable skills from football to rugby? You bet. But at the end of the day the sub is about football and you’re asking everyone why their goal isn’t rugby. Personally, I’m a rugby player myself, but I don’t really come here asking about it.

Pretend that you're 35 today, and picture a realistic situation you'd like to be in. Not a valet team lead, I presume. Maybe software engineer? Sales consultant? Financial services? Now ask your 35-year-old self what you wish you did at age 30 to get to this alternative scenario. If it takes you schooling and debt to get there, then so be it. In the grand scheme of things, 20-30k of debt is nothing as long as you end up bringing in more than the 40-60k you earn now. The only way you'll still be …

You entered this guy's frame the moment you entered an environment that he could out-compete you in. You recognized it, and instead of accepting it with grace (which is alpha in its own way), you broadcasted all of your insecurities by demonstrating your lack of awareness of the disparity (beta) by trying to beat him at the game that he is best at. That is the definition of entering someone else's frame. No matter how hard you try, it's near impossible to beat Lebron on the basketball court or C…

What the fuck? I'd never call my SO a slut as a joke. If it was dirty talk during sex - fine, I do that too, but that's in a very specific context, and it should be done in a way that benefits the pleasure of both involved. If he's a good captain, he'd be constructively critical and tell you what you can do to be a great girlfriend instead of just shitting on you and call you a bad girlfriend / slut. If I saw one of my bros try to be "RP" this way, I'd tell him to man the fuck up and start leadi…

No problem. Never look at the top of the mountain when trying to reach it. Just keep your head down and look for the next rock to climb. One step at a time :)

Before talking about the "what" you need to do to feel more feminine/better, it may be good to evaluate your mindset. Right now, you seem to be stuck in a rut where you only look at how others are so much better than you somehow, without considering the possibility that it takes a lot of work to get to that stage. Few women wake up with a beautiful body, homemaking skills, and submissive / motherly traits. Similarly, few men wake up with six pack abs, respectable career, and dominant / protectiv…

One of the few times I would say this on MRP, but this guy deserves whatever he gets from the divorce rape. Making his wife work night shifts so that they don't pay for daycare, how the fuck does that even make sense? And what did he think it would do for his sex life if they only see each other for minutes a day? His wife put up with his shit for too long and now is standing up for herself, nothing wrong with that in my book. In conclusion - fuck this guy, he needs a lesson and a divorce might …

Fuck that gentle permission shit. The best responses I've gotten with girls are always when I ambush them with a passionate kiss, mid-sentence. I've also done the BP way where I slowly, gently lean in for a kiss after caressing her arms. I get ghosted by girls in the latter category much more often than those in the first.

Thanks for the advice. I have thought about it through this lens and I've come to the same conclusion - I need to handle the situation in a way so that in her mind, "it just happened". It seems that this is the only way for a lot of girls to be willing to put out without feeling trashy.

I don't want to lose the friend and don't want to make things weird at work...so what do I do? You will fail if you go for it. Sorry, but you have too much emotional stake in this to not give a shit about the outcome.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
