Many comments, but I didn't go out pre-30 and really wish I did. Socialization is very important.

Ok post. Evolutionary psychology (EP) and TRP are not as complimentary as they seem. EP suggests there is more conflict between men than between men and women. For example, we go to school, drive a nice car, go to the gym, etc, all to have higher status relative to other men, not women. Women do the same thing. When I authored a post here stating these facts, I was universally panned.

Reddit is disgusting. The referenced comments are proof.

Being funny is a sign of intelligence. This guy seems like he has it.

I disagree to some extent. Faith is the opposite of reason. By faith, you are suspending reason. You have confidence because you've appropriately framed reality and make conscious choices based upon facts and logic. The fact that your decisions are grounded in reality, and not subverted by faith, provides confidence.

Women need to grow up quick, or they are going to be extinct.

Being raised by a narcissistic, domineering mother I was afraid of women and very pensive. It took 10 years being outside the house to learn about true (sexual) interaction with women. Women demand to be dominated, owned and look up to the male figure as a hero. I have embraced this and never been happier.

It's actually easy. I've been losing weight (and belly fat) just by cutting carbs. No more soda, bread, pasta, potatoes, fast food, etc. A couple beers on the weekend is fine. But you're allowed to eat eggs, meat, nuts, etc., but just don't gorge yourself. The fatty foods keep you satisfied longer.

This hit me really hard. I was one of those consumers that needed a luxury car, expensive clothes and a nice apartment for status. It was a "counterfeit" way of expressing my value. I didn't save a dime in my 20s because of this, even though I earn good money. Today, I don't own a car, shop at TJMaxx and live in a 450 sqft studio. I bank a full paycheck every month and now really "enjoy" life without any cash flow problems. This has greatly, positively impacted my self-esteem and worth.

OP is leaving out the psychological aspects of domination. Yes, my g/f and I have "rough sex" as described by OP (maybe even go farther), but the psychological play is very devastating. Denial is usually the most powerful one. Orgasm denial, even denying to punish her (when she's tied and gagged up and begging for it) is crazy good. Afterwards, however, it's so important to have a cool down or what they call in BDSM "aftercare". Some RP'ers will disagree, but it's extremely important from a comf…

What, on the gay friend thing? If a straight male ever needs a confidence boost, a gay male can get that for you. Straight men are the hunted in casual social settings where they are in the minority which can be fun. Also, they are certainly more fashion friendly than your straight friends male and female.

Money and a good career helps too. Also, and this sounds kinda odd, as a straight man you should make a gay male friend/acquiesce.

I never thought about the Monday/Friday thing, but, yea, that's dead on.

Money provides so many opportunities to meet women. You can travel, live in a nice area/apartment and gain entry to events you ordinarily couldn't. It's not everything but out of a great body or bring very attractive, I think money is more important not just with women but life overall.

Great article. I was woefully underpaid for years and had a lot of pushback when working with a recruiter for my current position. I learned lesson that the first one to talk salary generally losses.

Agreed with the comments here. I'll likely never get married again, at least without a contract that protects me on the other side.

Killer instinct is more mental than physical. Identifying when you have the advantage over an opponent or situation does not require violence, but discipline, patience and mental fortitude.

All I need to do is put my income in the accurate bracket on a site like OkC, and as a 6/10 looking guy in an area with a high f/m ratio, I'm swimming in messages.

I disagree with OP. I earn far more in my mid-30s than my mid-20s. I'm definitely more marketable and more confident. This is over generalization.

I remember how my blood boiled when I learned my ex was with someone else. I would be homicidal if it was when we were together.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
